New Gameplay Mechanics 🚀

  • Prestige System: A new layer of strategy has been unlocked for the late game!

    • How it Works: Once you reach a certain production threshold, you can choose to "Prestige." This will reset your current run's progress (cubes, generators, and standard upgrades).

    • The Reward: In exchange, you will earn permanent Prestige Points (PP). These points can be spent in a brand-new skill tree to unlock powerful, permanent upgrades that affect all future runs, accelerating your progress and allowing you to reach new heights.

  • Overclock System (Toggle): A new risk/reward mechanic has been introduced!

    • Activation: A new central "OC" button allows you to toggle Overclock mode.

    • Function: While active, your global CPS (Cubes Per Second) increases dramatically, but a "System Stress" bar also fills up. The higher the Stress, the greater the risk of a "Meltdown" with negative consequences.

    • Strategy: The player must decide how long to keep Overclock active to maximize gains without causing a catastrophic failure.

  • Generator-to-Click Synergy: A new progression mechanic has been created for the mid-game.

    • Unlock: Reaching 15 units of a specific generator type unlocks a unique "Synergy" upgrade.

    • Effect: Once purchased, this upgrade permanently adds a percentage of that generator type's total CPS to your CPC (Cubes Per Click).

  • User Interface & Experience Improvements ✨

    • New Control Layout: The bottom command bar has been completely redesigned for a cleaner, more modern look.

    • Main Background: The backdrop behind the central cube has been enhanced with a parallax effect, dimmed star brightness, and a slight blur to create a sense of depth and focus the action.

  • Game Balancing ⚖️

    • Mid-Game Pacing: To make the progression curve steeper, new logic has been implemented for Prestige and Astral Boosts.

      • Increasing Prestige Cost: After earning the first Prestige Point in a run, the cube cost for each subsequent point doubles.

      • Post-Astral Generator Cost: After performing an Astral Boost on a generator, its costIncreaseFactor now increases, making it more expensive to continue buying and encouraging diversification.

    • Generator Expansion: The generator list has been rebalanced with more thematic names, and new end-game generators have been added. The display limit has been increased from 4 to 6.
