A New Foe Awaits...

Every new adversary that joins DEMONS presents a fresh challenge and the Deceiver is no exception. You'll want to keep your flashlights handy when confronting this masked master of mayhem! Read on to find out why...



When you encounter the Deceiver during an investigation not only will you be knocked down, but you'll also see a Terrifying Illusion card placed at a random location that does not already have one. Once all 5 locations are occupied by Terrifying Illusion cards your team will lose the game. They'll start to cause you problems even before that though.



Any location with a Terrifying Illusion card will be blocked from investigation, making your quest to find the 10 Altar cards you need to win the game much harder. However, you can use a Flashlight card to send Terrifying Illusions to the discard pile - clearing the way for you to continue your searches.

As always with our demons, any encounter with the Deceiver will trigger an attack with a unique animation. We think you'll agree that this one is particularly disturbing...

The Future of DEMONS

With the addition of the Deceiver to the game we've fulfilled our initial vision for DEMONS. The ten demons that you can now challenge were the ones we originally crafted for the game. Further development for the game would require substantial investment that can't be supported by current sales - consequently we're taking the difficult decision to end active development on DEMONS. The release of the Deceiver will now mark our transition from an Early Access title to a full release one.

The game will still remain fully active, with multiplayer server support in place.

We're very proud that DEMONS offers a multiplayer digital card game experience that is truly unique and hope that all of you will continue to enjoy sending the demons back to the void with your friends.
