This fifth update since Early Access doesn’t bring new content, but it continues to refine Nocturne FX™ under the hood—with new settings, engine fixes, and better tooling for both players and development. Most of these changes enhance flexibility, improve sound and visual consistency, or support future expansion.
🧠 Engine & Logic Fixes
Camera wrapping fixed: Visual issues beyond 100,000 units (clouds failing, stars shifting) have been resolved.
Wrap boundary increased: From 100,000 → 1,000,000 units to delay coordinate overflows far beyond normal runs.
Settings system upgraded: Now supports more than booleans, which opens the door for future numeric or typed configuration fields without boilerplate.
🔊 Master Volume Control
Added a new Master Volume setting (0–100), allowing overall audio scaling while keeping the balance between sounds (e.g. pew is louder than flap).
Enables dynamic tuning without distorting mix levels.
This is the first feature built using the new settings system.
🧾 Debug Console Enhancement
Output now duplicates to both the in-game console and system stdout/stderr.
Ensures error messages or crash info is preserved—even when the debug UI is open.
📊 Run Summary Tweak
Score is now included in the optional end-of-run summary.
Previously showed only time, flaps, and power-ups—this change reflects direct player feedback.
