Gameplay & Balance
Adjusted difficulty curve: The early game is now a bit more forgiving. Enemy waves and bosses should feel more manageable, especially in the first few minutes.
Battleship unlocked by default: I’ve removed the old currency system so that everyone can use the Battleship right away, it’s just more fun that way! I'm planning a much deeper meta progression system for a future update.
Fixes & Improvements
Fixed difficulty selection bug: The game now correctly starts with your chosen difficulty.
Added Quit Game option: You can now exit the game from the main menu without needing to Alt+F4.
I know the random upgrade system can be frustrating at times, especially when you go a while without getting a weapon upgrade early on. It’s something I’ve noticed too, and I’m already working on ways to make that experience feel better and more fair without losing the fun of randomness.
