Hey guys urb here, I hope the summer is treating you alright.
Rapid firing this one right after the big patch of DDay. It’s a slice from a bigger update that’s still in the pipe, but with the summer sale being on, I wanted to get some key fixes and new toys into your hands ASAP.


This patch tightens up AI behavior, cleans out some code, and introduces late-game tactical directives that let you push back harder when the front starts to buckle. Classic players especially, you’ve got some new teeth now past wave 50.

Highlights:

  • Sarge Call Check – You’ll now get a proper shoutback if you try to call in Sarge when he’s already boots on the deck.

  • Fuel Hit Cleanup – Yanked the .50s and R35s from the fuel system. Not everything on wheels needs to be a bomb.

  • Intel Drop Fix – Actionable intel drops more reliably now, even when you’re looting other crap.

  • Staff Car Auto-Spot – Enemy staff cars now get pinged automatically near your line.

  • Bridge AI Smarts – Pathing got a bump. No more troops suiciding in a straight line across bridges.

  • Bridge Spawn Logic – Bridges won’t drop right at map start or end anymore. Gives you room to breathe.

  • Magnum Ammo Fix – Magnum rounds now show up properly on the paper doll.

  • MP41 Touch-Up – Slight visual scale-up. Looks more like the subgun you should respect.

  • Hardcore D-Day – No longer the default. If you want that hurt locker, you’ve gotta pick it.

  • New Directives (x7) – Hit wave 50 in Classic and unlock combat directives. Force multipliers when you’re knee-deep. Hit the wiki to learn about these one time use power ups.

  • Slugger Icon Added – Slugger perk now shows when frags or smokes get tossed.

  • Debug Text Stripped – Cleaned up leftover dev text. You don’t need to see the wires.

  • Officer XP Fix – Killing enemy officers in Campaign pays out XP properly now.

  • Hold Fast Visual – Icon now triggers when Hold Fast kicks in.

  • Group AI Tweaks – Axis unit behavior got touched up now fights more in line with their type. Less random, more deliberate.

  • Manor Radius Fix – Manor now clears a bigger space to stop terrain clipping.

  • Faust Crash Squashed – Fixed a crash when 1st Div let rip with the improved Faust.

This update was a blast to work on. It makes fights more layered, more brutal, and just a little more streamlined when it comes to enemy actions. Thanks to all of you for continuing to push the envelope with your feedback and congrats to all of you trying for masters currently, very rewarding to see this level of skill at that scale.
