Hello friends!

Following the release of the game, we are bringing you the first update that tweaks and improves the gameplay in many ways and adds many small but gameplay-interesting improvements that you have written to us about.

The most important is the ability to drag an army around one of your own provinces, which will speed up troop movement. Also important is the ability for provinces to upkeep 1-3 units.

In addition to the combat system, which has been tweaked (for example, soldiers are pushing each other less, catapults can destroy defense objects etc.), we've added a much slower combat system that will be welcomed by those who want more control over their soldiers in battle.

New in the update:

  • The army can move up to 2 own provinces. However, it can only attack the adjacent land if it has not moved.

  • Provinces maintain a garrison that the monarch does not have to pay. The crew is 1 to 3 units, depending on the level of the city.

  • Adjusted trade and prices of food and construction material in the shop slightly reduced.

  • Modified some building properties. For example, the income from the City Center has been increased from 100 to 150 gold.

  • Adjusted (mostly increased) prices of some inventions.

  • Most political actions depend on prestige only.

  • Modified random events, their prizes and rewards.

  • Anglo-Saxon and Celtic cultures have an approach to brewery construction.

  • Increased font readability and added experimental font enlargement to Options.

  • Fixed a bug where in combat when holding and dragging the right mouse, archers would start shooting at their friendly units.

  • Fine-tuned collisions and collision behaviour of units on the battlefield.

  • Added Tactical Battles II battle mode to slow down battles even more. Experimental ;)

  • Catapult can destroy defense objects now too. And ignite them.

  • When a battle is triggered, you can now even pick up defensive elements from the battlefield.

  • Fixed a bug where a large amount of enemy units were accumulated in an enemy province.
