This patch includes 2 new game modes, and a bunch of bug fixes. There's a new practice mode: Big Base, and Skirmish mode. Added some info about our upcoming DLC: Super Ace!
New Features:
-- Big Base: new practice mode where you and your opponent start with a large base and a bank of resources, but there's nothing to mine off of the map. Practice building and controlling a large army.
-- Skirmish mode makes it easy to play standard matches against the AI.
Bug Fixes:
-- Rust Outlaw: Turbo was setup wrong and was uncastable.
-- Rust Champion: Treads were animating backwards.
-- Some projectiles were not spawning visual effects if they impacted the edge of the map.
-- Sandbox mode would occasionally not stop matches properly.
-- Sandbox mode would incorrectly list an opponent when there was none.
-- Some options weren't taking effect until after the option panel was opened.
Other Changes:
-- Keyboard hotkey presses now make UI sounds and are visible on the command card.
-- Improved materials on some city-buildings (visible via arena-cam).
-- Handful of small changes to the new menus.
-- Some changes to opponent AI, they're better at base layouts, they scout more often, and they are more efficient with their inputs.
-- Leaderboards: now properly show the last-seen value.
