Hey everyone! Over the past day since the launch of the Challenge Update I've been patching things as they come up, and have been pushing small hotfix patches whenever I wrap a batch of fixes. Here's all the changelogs in one place!

Before we get to it, a couple of players reported issues with the game crashing upon loading the main menu. I've adjusted how the game preloads some of it's assets, so it should resolve that issue if you've been dealing with it!

If you're still encountering crashes launching the game, please leave a report in the discord or in the forums here and I'll take a look.

White Knuckle 0.44a

  • Fixed Shuttered Rift and Roach Run providing roach-bank achievements.

  • Fixed duplicate crusher in Fractured Territory.

White Knuckle 0.44b

  • Added invisible geo ramps to Comms array, getting in the doors should be easier now!

  • Fixed missing geo in Roach Run.

  • Fixed missing pitons in two new Labs levels.

  • Fixed the mass sometimes killing you when looping in endless. (Hopefully),

  • Removed OOB particles in Fractured Territory.

  • Removed some hard mode effects still happening in challenge maps.

  • Made it harder to glitch into wall in Fractured Territory.

  • Fixed missing face on vent in Shuttered Rift.

What happened to c? we don't talk about it. Probably minor stuff.

  • Fixed the dumpster in comms array.

  • Fixed the missing vent faces in Pier 04 and Shutter 02.

  • (Hopefully) fixed being flung when endless loads another set of levels while hanging on.

  • Reduced load times for the main menu.

  • Fixed drone explosion sounds replaying when re-entering a level.

  • Fixed ladder entrance in new lab level.

White Knuckle 0.44e & 0.44d

  • Fixed issue with some objects and denizens moving or acting strange during world re-centering on long endless runs.

  • Increased the distance between world recentering operations.

  • Fixed lighting bug in Training Sector level.

  • Fixed fog misalignment in Air 05.

  • Made it easier to crawl into the Plasma Agitator exit ramp vent.

  • (Maybe) Fixed 6969 showing up as a standin when medal times failed to load.

  • Fixed backface culling issue in Pier 03.

White Knuckle 0.44f

  • New loading counter when launching game!

  • You can now skip the intro animations with any button, not just the few previously used.

  • Fixed potential crash on some systems where the game would hang on launch.

  • Fixed \Cheatrooms\ loading incorrectly.

  • Fixed missing sound effects for the player when in \Toxic Fog\.

  • Fixed mismatched announcement lines in Training Sector.

  • Fixed the \Door\ debuffs not being lost after death or log off.
