There has been a good amount of questions and request to help captains looking at modding the game. We have taken these requests to heart and made massive updates to the way we handle mods, and now allow for local mods to grant better faster testing for modders.

Thank you for all of the feedback, testing, and bug reports.

Updates

  • Mod Panel Ui & UX updates:

    • Improved the selection display to be easier to identify

    • More refined Panels

  • Modable Options are now listed within the Mod Panel

    • Display a list of allow current Modable files

    • Allows for inspection of these files to allow for faster changes

    • Warning Spoilers can be found within

  • Local Mods are now supported!

    • Better faster testing of mods through the use of loading and use of local mod

    • Drag & Drop Mod Content Folders for linking is now available

  • Updated the modifiable options:

    • Improved Factions options

    • Improved Intro options

    • Added Abilities options

  • Jobs Board Update:

    • Improved the methods used within the Jobs Board to smooth out the number of clicks to get a mission

    • Mission generation system is being streamlined for the next big update

  • More UI Tweaks

Future Work

  • We are working to localize the display name for the Modable Options to open mod creation up to more languages

  • Missions and Mission params is next on the list of Modable Options
