What's up, Defenders! Today we are releasing version 1.1.0 of Islets Defense.
Below you can check everything that was changed on this update:
⚖️ BALANCE
(Hardcore 1-1): Slightly easier now. While the stage was aligned with our expectations for Hardcore mode, its solution felt too narrow, with very few viable paths. We've tweaked it to reduce early frustration and better match the difficulty curve of other Forest stages.
(Sea Stages): Overall a bit easier. When gathering food using a Fishing Market, tiles with fish now yield +5 food instead of +3. While not all players noticed this bonus, fish tend to appear where players naturally place markets — so this change should make food management smoother. We also adjusted some fish spawn points in stage 3-1 to make them more accessible.
(Regular and Hardcore 3-3): These stages are now easier. They were a bit too challenging compared to the rest of the curve. The improved fish gathering also helps here, but we’ve made additional tweaks to ease the overall experience.
🎮 QUALITY OF LIFE
When you try to build or upgrade something but lack resources, the red warning icon now shows exactly how much of each resource you're missing — no need to open the resource window anymore.
🛠️ FIXES
(Stage 2-1): Fixed flickering enemy on the right side during the shooting minigame.
Fixed a bug where defeating the last enemy with a spike could cause the game to soft-lock.
Fixed a rare soft-lock when morphing a tile and interacting with the level UI at the same time.
Fixed an issue that prevented reading the thermometer tooltip in Snow stages while any interface (like upgrades or morph) was open.
Fixed minor text issues in French, Chinese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Fixed a visual bug where the Harvest Tree preview showed a wheat tile on Desert stages instead of a cactus.
Fixed a very specific bug that could open a black hole on Sea stages (yes, really).
Fixed an issue where some enemies weren’t dying even after reaching 0 HP.
