Hi everyone!
It's been an incredible journey so far, and seeing your reactions and how each of you approached the game has been even better than what I was expecting. MIRO is a passion project, developed barely by three people and I'm really happy with the reception. People enjoying the game is the most important thing to us.
And while I was fixing all bugs and issues you guys reported, I was also working on some other things totally in secret.
So, let's get to the point of this post: content added in version 1.1
This update adds a lot more procedural assets to the pool, you'll notice that the flora has been upgraded with new tree models, leaves, and bushes.
Some trees can get really weird. But that's part of exploring, right? Uncovering the unknown!
You'll also find some new abandoned structures on planets, some with even deadlier hazards than before, but always with something worthwhile inside.
Some of these structures will also give some more insight of the universe that MIRO takes place on. Most of these new structures are only available from Gamma cluster and onward, so make sure you are well equipped to explore these!
And of course, there was a lot of other fixes and changes that should make the moment to moment more engaging. Here's a quick list of fixes:
Fixed creature behavior when hunting the player.
Fixed creature procedural animations.
Adjusted creature spawn rules.
Adjusted creature texture creation process.
Fixed Auto travel menu.
Adjusted spawn rate of tier 3 taser.
Cloud coverage adjustments per cluster.
Better weather transitions and sounds.
Performance adjustments (especially for the Steam Deck).
Fixed procedural clutter generation.
Adjusted render distance.
Adjusted fog rendering.
Added more grass types.
Fixed building position.
Added tutorial computer.
Adjusted hover bike physics.
Added hover bike location on map.
Changed terminal colors on MIRO's hub.
Planet where you dropped your loot is now marked on the terminal.
As always, have fun and please let me know if you run into any issues.
And lastly, but also important, all your feedback is appreciated, let me know what you like and don't like about the game.
And if you like it, let your friends know! This is a REAL independent project, any visibility helps us a lot.
I hope you have an overall great day.
See you soon, enjoy!
