Where do I start? A TON of small tasks completed in the last few days:
- Hit/Sprint bug resolved
- Chest initializing bug reduced (not 100% yet, will look at it!)
- Updated/deconflicted keybinds
- On controller, lb+rb no longer fires lb!
- introduced a small floor start delay to permit the map to load before we run in and get unfairly pitfall'd or worse!
- Perk descriptions can now be accurately found in the library
- Removed (e) gems for now. They don't do what I want them to do and just kinda fill your bags :/
This will be revisted.
- Fixed a bug where you can vote for your group to leave the floor on accident when in the UI
There is still a bug where only the host can pull yall out of the tombs! so be careful!
- Spawners fire initial sound when Tombs start
This is one of those I didnt wanna mention because it cannot be unheard lol well now it is not heard :)
- Fixed a hadnful of mistakes in the tutorial
THREE new maze pieces have been added, one is one of the most versatile I think I could have added, these could feel very different mazes! I intend to add new maze pieces all the time so the floors stay fresh :)
Boss for floors 30 & 40 has returned from her lunch break but she still isn't feeling at 100% yet...
Issues still on my radar:
- Making the checkpoints per account rather than per character
This was not a change I could make hastily and will do ASAP
- Chest initializing
The Delay is currently so multiplayer chests can be relayed, I have made it so it doesnt happen in Solo but I want to make this cleaner
- Client farm updates sometimes fail to save if climbing back into the tombs
Another client side bug I was unable to reproduce but saw in a previous play through is farm updates for the client mess up. You can avoid this by returning to your own farm then rejoining the host. You dont lose anything in this process, it just appears as tho you never did any actions on the surface. This is also not a quick fix but will prioritize it with the floor checkpoint update.
- The typo in the patch notes for 1.0.8 where I said "hadnful" instead of handful... oof. Well nothing I can do now.
New content in the works:
- Some current enemies aren't at their fullest potential, so some new content will give them the abilities I have planned soon
- You also aren't operating at full capacity, as stated before I intend on buff you and them with new ways to take them on. That is in the works too!
