A summary of post release bug fixes and changes that together now bring The Corruption to v1.0.1:
Gameplay:
- Walk toggle added (must be enabled in settings)
- Changed thegate so players can see the exit before the button that opens it
- Made canyon alt-route trick shot a little less tricky
- Properly gated upper islands tower route so you must always pick up the grenade launcher first
- Moved final save point in recluse
Fixes for:
- Missing wall in terminal start area
- Floppy disk messages self-deleting at start in museum, canyons, and islands
- Floppy disk messages freezing inside "blocker" automata
- Cables on hanging lights causing shadowing issues when swinging
- Tool tips showing for invisible dev-only grenade launchers
- Phone calls restarting on world changes despite still having the same message
- More consistent pickup of small physics objects close to player (but kept mattress surfing because people enjoy it)
- Homunculus not releasing enough minions on second stage
- Missing sound on destroyer ending
- Physics objects getting stuck on functionary collision box
- Missing spawner link in admin basement
- Can fall through the floor at Homunculus save point
- Pickup tooltip not always showing for grenade launcher at start
- Falling respawn not working when reloading the save after getting the destroyer ending
- Typos in subtitles and floppy-disk messages
- Performance improvements with level instances and merged meshes in islands and terminal
That covers almost all the bugs I'm currently aware of. Hesitated to make post-release gameplay changes (I come from a time when the released game was what it was and that was it), but they're pretty minor really. Fixes will continue based on bug reports, but there will be no more gameplay changes.
