Wordatro! is now available on Steam 🎉
After more than a year in development, my first game as a solodev is finally out!
What's next?
I plan to keep working on the game and make regular free updates.
Here's a list of what I'd like to implement in the short, medium and long term:
accessibility features
ability for players to suggest words to add to the dictionary
option for players to add their own dictionaries
For the moment, the roadmap is still hazy because... I'm about to become a father 🍼 (not of Wordatro, but of a real baby!).
It's my first child, so I'm having a hard time realizing how much time I'll have available afterwards... That's why I wanted to get the game out now, even if there are still improvements to be made. You've already got hours of gameplay ahead of you!
Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable in improving Wordatro, so don't hesitate to share them on the Discord server or the Steam Community Hub! I promise, in between baby bottles, I'll do my utmost to keep improving the game!
A huge THANK YOU
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me in the development of Wordatro. Many of you have playtested the game, given me feedback and suggestions, streamed the games, kept the Discord community alive, talked about it around you... you've been incredible!
Leaving a positive review on the game's Steam page would help enormously to promote it on the platform and contribute greatly to its commercial success. If you'd like to support me and the game, please don't hesitate to do so. I'd be very grateful!
Accessibility
You may have noticed that the layout of the bonuses has changed, or that the interface is no longer exactly the same. These changes are the result of work carried out with Olivier Nourry (from Games Accessibility Hub) to make the game accessible to as many people as possible.
Thanks to the exchanges we've had, I've been able to make the game more accessible, and I'd like to push things even further by proposing a thematic update on accessibility in the coming months.
Languages
The game interface is available in 9 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Russian and Simplified Chinese) and you can play with dictionaries in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Dutch.
Perfect if you want to improve your language skills or play with your kids to learn words!
Thanks again for your support during the development of Wordatro! Now that it's time for me to concentrate on my new job as a dad, I'm handing over to my publisher Abiding Bridge to pass on your feedback. I'll get back to you soon, I promise!
Have fun!
