- Damage System Overhaul:
Enemies now have different damage systems depending on their form. For example the mushroom headed enemy can take many shots to it's larger head but it's back legs are weaker one shots. Overall enemies are harder to kill and you will have to plan more strategically where your shots land, hopefully balancing out new shooting system.
- Perk System Overhaul:
Perks added are Signal pair (Allows two shots from the flare gun), Detonation Zone (Increase grenades range), Dog senses (Dogs will start growling if infected, when interacting with them you will become infected), Quick pin (Grenades explode instantly when hitting any surface), Infection detector (Only beeps for infected humans now)
Perks reworked were Oil Conservation (Speed decreases only to 15% now), Home free (Allows end game helicopter to be called without turning on the satellite), Soft feet (Removed negative that caused slower movement speed), Jetpack Ride (Now acts like a true jetpack allowing the user to fly around by pressing space and to move in the air at faster speeds by holding shift), Nightmare detector (Only shows for user that has the perk equipped)
Fixes/Optimizations:
- Sniper nerfed (if hip firing massive recoil)
- Invisible enemy fix (This specific instance was caused when blowing an enemy up with a grenade)
- Saving empty name preset fixed
- Dog corpse death animation playing for base camp 1 objective fixed
- Heating incorrect at airport building fixed
- Worm getting stuck out of ground improved
- Significant performance increases overall (lots of lighting & texture optimizations)
- Game thread waiting for render thread crash fix (Should be fixed for good however the crash is a rare occurrence so please let me know if you see it again) (Caused by item spawns having hard refs during level streaming so memory usage should also see a benefit from this change)
