Hey all! First of all, I really want to show my appreciation for the best Discord community a game could have. It's beautiful how you all love the game and are a key part of this game, sharing feedback, reporting bugs, and being really amazing to each other. If you're not part of it yet, join us!
I hope you've been enjoying the game so far. We've been working a lot these last couple of weeks, and after the amazing feedback from our community as we have a PACKED patch notes for version 1.0.2.
Buckle up because we have a lot of things to talk about.
Bug Fixes:
ONLINE
General Bugs:
Perfect Parry was not working well. Some of the hits you have all been getting should have been perfect parries instead, and it is finally fixed, making the usage of parry finally reliable. This will give a big boost, especially to those characters with longer parry preparation.
Inputs were being eaten while walking. Sometimes, trying to attack or parry while walking was not working.
Perfect Parries should have sent the defender to the Idle Animation. Instead, it was sending them to the weak or strong recovery, missing the whole point of the reward of perfect parrying.
Perfect Parry was not working after the first one. This would happen after successfully perfecting parrying an opponent.
Button rebinding was not working for the online mode.
The screen continues shaking after hit.
In the middle of arcade mode, the menus were popping for no reason.
Toggling cross-platform was crashing the game if the player was trying to come back from any single-player mode, after reaching Warrior Selection.
Character Specific Bugs:
MIYO:
Dash's forward distance was different from her offline counterpart. Adjusted to be the same.
Fixed weird hitbox allowing crazy long-ranged hits.
HOZOIN:
Hurtbox for his dash forward attack was adjusted to to get hits on low opponent's animations, like Tomoe's and Ayai's animations.
Hurtbox on his strong attack was also expanded to get opponents close or touching his sprite.
AYAI:
Her strong feint and strong attack hitboxes were expanded vertically to avoid weird whiffs from the opponent's horizontal attacks.
TOMOE:
Tomoe's second weak attack hurtbox got expanded vertically to make sure she could hit some low animations, like Miyo and Ayai.
YASUKE:
After defending a strong attack the animation was not the same as the offline version, leading him to be unable to punish some attacks, like Tomoe's strong attack, after defending it.
Character Balance Changes:
MIYO:
Miyo's strong attack got his jump back changed to be a lot faster, allowing her to actually react and escape some lunging attacks from the roster.
This also means that the strong feint was also buffed to fulfill the purpose of being used as a dodge mechanism.
NEW FEATURES:
Region Selector: You can finally choose the server you wanna play. We will provide options for optimal play all over the world.
Online Rematch: You can finally just press Rematch after finishing a duel to go back to the action, without having to select the same characters again.
LOCALISATION:
Fixed simplified and traditional localization keys for the story mode and profiling of the characters.
