Full Patch Notes:

*New Features*

  • Added 25 new Steam Achievements

  • Adjusted old Steam Achievements to grant more gems and have less requirements

  • Added 'Free Black Market' (unlocks after 150 victories)

  • Updated several ability descriptions and added tags to all abilities in the Dwarf details

  • Added 1 new Artifact: Gauntlet of Swiftness (Cave, Battle 30+)

  • Added Rune Circle Loadouts after completing the Rune Circle (obtain 12510 Rune Points)

  • Added 'Data Settings' to the Settings Menu:

*Changes and QoL*

*General*

  • Right clicking on an equipped Artifact will now send it directly to the inventory

  • The game will now save the current clan status when confirming to close the game window

  • Adjustments to mage basic attacks (Weapons have been changed accordingly):

    • Frost: Slow AoE attack with lower scaling

    • Fireball: Balanced single target attack with high burn chance

    • Thunder: fast attack speed, low minAtk - high maxAtk, cannot be dodged

  • Resistance scaling has been reduced for everyone:

    • Old: % resistance = (1 - (100/(100 + resistanceValue)) * 100

    • New: % resistance = (1 - (200/(200 + resistanceValue)) * 100

  • Reroll costs will now scale more smoothly up to victory 100 and will start to increase afterwards:

    • Victory 100: 190 -> 216

    • Victory 200: 390 -> 625

    • Victory 300: 590 -> 1211

    • Victory 500: 990 -> 2649

    • Victory 1000: 1990 -> 7168

  • Damage type will now always follow the Pattern: Veteran Passive > Shoulders > Offhand > Mainhand

  • Increased damage of Crusader Hammer from 8% to 10% of weight

  • Burn damage tick rate will now always be affected by the lowest tick rate for the full duration (instead of last attacker)

  • Changes to 'Burn' debuff:

    • Stacks now count as regular stacks and removing a debuff will generally only remove 1 stack

    • 'Healing Rain' Ultimate will remove all Burn stacks at once

  • Damage and defensive multipliers have been adjusted:

    • All damage multipliers of the same category (e.g. damage from status effects: damage vs poison and damage vs fear) are now additive instead of multiplicative

    • Total damage formula: sum of flat/permanent damage increases (e.g. from Runes) * sum of temporary battle damage boosts (e.g. Orb of Mana, Attack Up buff) * sum of on hit damage boosts (e.g. depending on target status)

    • Total defense formula: all effects are multiplicative as long as they are unique

  • 'Eternal' clan setting option now has an unlocking condition

  • Formation 'Wizardry' now scales with 5% per Wizard

  • Formation 'Rangers' now scales with 5% per Ranger

*Items and Abilities*

  • Updated several sprites

  • 'Archangel Figurine' will now display its activations during battle but no longer has a growth effect

  • 'Razorblade Ring' now additionally has a chance to apply the 'Fractured' debuff

  • 'Phoenix Feather' is now limited to 3 total uses

  • 'Pinned' Debuff additional effect: Reduce dodge chance by 30%

  • 'Frozen' Debuff additional effect: Receive 25% less damage, but unable to block, dodge or parry

  • Reworked 'Amulet of Warding'

  • Adjusted stats for 'Cane of the Ancient'

  • The following artifacts are now available after 20 victories (instead of 25): Amulet of Warding, Ring of Blood, Razorblade Ring

  • The poison debuff of 'Toxic Flask' and 'Gas Grenade' can no longer be resisted/blocked/dodged

  • 'Bloodseeker' now has an additional effect: cannot be blocked or dodged

  • Artifact 'Kakapo Egg' will now only grant +1 STA after battle (down from +2 STA)

  • Passive 'Frost Blade' now adds magic penetration instead of armor penetration

  • 'Orb of Mana' (level 100 -> 110) and 'Pickaxe' (level 110 -> 100) have swapped unlock positions

  • Ultimate 'Pyromaniac' is no longer blockable

  • 'Storm Cowl', 'Storm Shoulders' and 'Moonlight Hood' have been moved one tier up in the shop

  • 'Serpent Staff' has been removed from the normal shop, but sprite and stats have been updated for crafting

  • Slightly decreased number of target scaling for 'Thunderstorm', 'Phoenix' and 'Piercing Arrow'

  • 'Thunder', 'Thunderstorm' and 'Kugelblitz' will now deal damage based on 0.5 * INT - 2 * INT damage

  • Updated 'Tornado' description and slightly lowered its damage scaling

  • Reduced life regen mythic forge modifier from 5% to 4%

  • 'Djinn Set' chance to remove a debuff increased from 15% to 20%

  • 'Doom' damage now increases with the damage modifier, but only deals 0.5*(INT+STR+DEX) dmg per debuff (down from 1.0)

  • 'Battlerune: Cataclysm' additional damage now scales with the amount of debuffs on the enemy, similar to Doom

  • Changed 'Dragon Set' bonus to: Regenerates an additional 10 mana per second and buffs last 25% longer.

  • Changed 'Divine Set' bonus to: Stossgebet now also restores 30% of the target's max Mana.

*Professions*

  • Changes to Beastmaster:

    • Off-hand will now have a random Passive (same as Knight/Thief off-hands)

    • Off-hand can now be reforged to change the Passive by combining it with two Knight/Thief off-hands

  • Changes to Cannoneer:

    • Attack Speed will now start at 100% (up from 50%) and increase to 200% over 10 seconds (unchanged)

    • Increased Speed on gear

    • Reduced base attack speed for 'Cannon (2H)' from 1.5 to 1.0

    • Increased required mana for 'Gas Grenade' Ultimate from 100 to 200

    • Added 8 Passives for 'Tailpipe Shoulders':

      • Corrosive Shells: Physical Element. 20% chance to apply Poison. Reloads at 110% of attack speed.

      • Disruptor Shells: Dark Element. 20% chance to apply Silence. Reloads at 90% of attack speed.

      • Explosive Shells: Physical Element. 20% chance to explode. Reloads at 60% of attack speed.

      • Galvanic Shells: Thunder Element. 20% chance to apply Shocked. Reloads at 150% of attack speed.

      • Incendiary Shells: Fire Element. 20% chance to apply Burning. Reloads at 125% of attack speed.

      • Shattering Shells: Holy Element. 20% chance to apply Fractured. Reloads at 80% of attack speed.

      • Shrapnel Shells: Physical Element. 20% chance to apply Bleeding. Reloads at 130% of attack speed.

      • Subzero Shells: Ice Element. 20% chance to apply Frozen. Reloads at 100% of attack speed.

  • Changes to Reaper:

    • 'Harvest' Ultimate now executes targets below 10% max health

    • 'Harvest' Ultimate bonus damage vs low health targets increased from 0.25% to 1% per 1% of missing health

    • 'Crimson Set' Reaper bonus now additionally grants 'Harvest' a 50% chance to Silence for 5 seconds

    • Fixed a bug where 'Harvest' would sometimes deal way too much damage when striking multiple targets

*Runes*

  • Updated visuals for inactive Advanced Profession Runes in the Rune Circle

  • Rune 'Horror' damage increased from 200% to 400% INT when more than 5 stacks of 'Fear'

  • Rune 'Judgement' and 'Plea' now affect the Holy Element instead of the Priest Profession

*Battle*

  • Removed automatic Sudden Death from Card Battles:

    • After 1 minute of battle, you can now order your Dwarves to stop healing and charge forward

    • Orcs will automatically stop healing and charge forward if they only have healers left \[unchanged]

    • Bosses will enrage after 3 minutes, increasing their damage by 2% for every second that passes thereafter

  • Removed mana bar indicators from all characters on the battlefield

  • Slightly increased base range of Archer, Mage and Priest

  • Elite Orcs now have the Passive 'Bleeding Blade' and wear the 'Pickaxe' Artifact after battle 100

  • Reduced knockback factor of 'Thundering Shuriken'

  • Stamina value of Orcs will start to increase significantly after victory 1000

  • Priests and Supporters now need to be close to the ally with the lowest HP or the enemy frontline in order to perform their healing

  • True damage can no longer be absorbed by 'Holy/Dark Crystal' Artifacts or 'Void Slash' Ultimate

  • Changes to knockback during combat:

    • Now has some diminishing returns towards the late game

    • The knockback of attacks and abilities is now always based on their damage scaling stat (STR, DEX or INT)

    • Changed several abilities to be affected by the correct modifiers

  • Changes to Speed stat:

    • Now has some diminishing return for the actual movement speed on the battlefield

    • This should help managing large speed discrepancies within the clan better

    • This should lead to an overall less chaotic behavior, especially towards the late game

  • Decimate (damage beyond the skull sign) is now multiplicative and can no longer be dodged or blocked

  • All thieves will now jump back less when below 20% health

  • Limited the max amount of Rimu berries Orcs can throw to 20

*Raids*

  • Increased gold reward for Dragon Raids

  • All Wyverns - Dragonscales no longer prevents sharp projectiles, but instead increases physical resistance and reduces damage from projectiles

  • Flame Wyvern - Ashbringer now removes all buffs before applying burn

  • Flame Wyvern - Dragon Curse now hits the CLOSEST target with increased knock back effect

  • Flame Wyvern - Slightly lowered Stamina

  • Ice Wyvern - Frozen Tomb can no longer be removed via debuff removal

  • Storm Wyvern - Manaburn has been reworked and renamed to 'Lord of the Storm'

  • Storm Wyvern - Slightly increased Stamina

  • All Raid exclusive Artifacts with effects are now unique

  • Increased Wisdom of Dragons

  • Forest Troll Raid will no longer drop an additional 'Trolltooth Necklace' Artifact

  • Raids are now harder (higher level) in Eternal Mode

  • Changes to boss debuff resistances in Raids:

    • All bosses now have an additional chance to resist debuffs, additional to some immunities

    • Debuff resistance will be checked after an attack was successful, i.e. it is easier to inflict debuffs with certain elements

*Miscellaneous*

  • In the Battle Report, Artifacts will now only be shown if they granted or gained stats

  • 'Thorns' will now always be shown as a passive abilitiy, if the dwarf has any source for thorn damage

  • Updated descriptions of block/dodge/resistance to list their caps in the Dwarf Details

  • Updated order of secondary stats and added increased damage stat in Dwarf Details

  • Increased maximum weight for Tavern Brawl from 10k to 100k

  • Clarified tooltips for all Battlerunes and Doom

  • Renamed 'Damage Type' to 'Element'

  • Updated a few UI sprites

  • High numbers will now always be displayed shortened

  • Updated scroll bar sprites

  • Updated text input fields

  • Optimized performance when using the 'Phalanx' Formation

  • Added animation for picking up loot items

  • Added new in-game hints

  • Added new section to Guide: Forge

  • Added info message when an item gets send to Storage

  • Added damage info to Champion Shoulder Passives

  • Further optimized several battle effects

*Bug Fixes*

  • Fixed an issue where bows would state that they scale with Strength (they never did)

  • Fixed an audio issue with 'Thundering Shuriken'

  • Fixed a bug where the wrong Artifacts could show up in Quests

  • Fixed a bug where Highscores for the Challenge leaderboard would not be recorded

  • Fixed an issue where the Paladin basic ability was not displayed

  • Fixed a bug where mythic forge modifiers would disappear when transforming between Golden Shield and Golden Aegis

  • Fixed an issue where Artifacts could be placed in the inheritance storage slot

  • Fixed an issue where 'Blizzard' and 'Avalanche' would deal less damage than intended

  • Fixed a bug where DoTs could hit critically

  • Fixed a bug where knock back of 'Avatar of Fire' and 'Meteor Strike' was based on STR instead of INT

  • Fixed an audio issue with 'Thundering Shuriken'

  • Fixed a bug where cancelling the difficulty selection would create a new clan in 'Glory' mode

  • Fixed a few issues where items could disappear when you did not have enough inventory space

  • Fixed an issue when displaying the 'Pinned' Debuff in the Dwarf Details

  • Fixed an issue where 'Poisoned' would always show up as possible Status Effect in the Dwarf Details

  • Fixed a bug where the Rune Circle Summary would not update after changing Runes

  • Fixed a few issues with the 'Inheritance' Rune

  • Fixed an issue where the chance for increased Veteran rerolls was not applied

  • Potentially fixed a bug where the savefile could become corrupted when exiting the game unexpectedly
