Sectors
Well Excavation
- Partially reworked the upper parts of the sector.
- A new well can now be dug up and be added as an addition to the camp for that save, similarly to the Lab Hatch in the Lowlands.
- To gain access to the well interior, a new puzzle has been implemented across the Well Excavation-sector that has to be solved.
New Area - Inside The Well
A new type of randomized environment that changes on a daily basis, accessible through the new well.
Contains a new unique enemy designed to thrive in this specific environment.
The water artifact can now be found here depending on which layout you get.
Like in ruins or other underground areas, treasures can also be found here.
Enemies
(New) Thing In The Well
Is always active inside the new well-area.
Can only engage with/or hurt players that are in water.
[*] Can occasionally appear in any water mass in the overworld.
Player/Characters
New Feature - Medic
- A new med-kit stand has been added to the camp. By default, one med kit can be picked up.
- A deminer who is carrying a med kit gets a medic-backpack attached to their character model.
- Each Med-Kit contains two charges, and can be used through the inventory. When a charge is used, all deminers that are standing close to the medic regains a moderate amount of health and has all of their health-related negative debuffs removed if any.
- An additional Med Kit can be permanently added to the camp through the upgrade section of the market, allowing for two medics.

Misc
- Added new VFX and SFX when treading water in the world.
- Fixed bug where no footsteps could be heard when walking backwards.
- Fixed a bug where you spam jump and crouch to bypass movement impairing effects caused
by water.
Mines
Trap Cables
- Optimized mines with the trap cable mechanic to have a slightly bigger window to be safely cut. (If you accidentally cut a cable that is marked by a tiny margin, you may still make it basically).
- Fixed a bug where the trap cable mechanic would sometimes get out of sync after solving a maze in the same mine.
Sound
Ambience
- Fixed noticeable clipping in some ambiance tracks that loop around.
- Fixed unwanted noise in the lightning storm ambiance track.
UI
Wildlife Guide
- Soft-Reworked the Wildlife Guide presentation, and added a way to quickly navigate to an entity on the left-hand side. As the roster of threats grows, this should make it less tedious to navigate to the information you want.
- Changed several names and descriptions of some entries, to better suit new lore.

Ruins
Misc
- Fixed gaps that could sometimes appear in ceilings.
Tutorial
- Fixed a bug where batteries could be used to progress the tutorial regardless of which step was active.
- Added a Med Kit to the item-usage section.
Weather
- Made rain / storms more common. Because they breed chaos, and adds incentive to stay inside of ruins for longer. I like the risk assessment it adds to the game.
Achievements
- Added a new achievement for entering the well for the first time.
Changed files in this update
