Hey everyone.
This patch includes some content updates. The first in-game day should be complete, but thats it, i wont spoil any gameplay hehe.
Other than that i have been working on content, fixing backend systems for the dialogue and quest systems and just making sure the game is a coherent experience so to say.
Next couple of patches i will be working on buying the first workshop as well as hiring a worker to help you out.
For this patch:
Anvil minigame:
Updated the hammer: Now you can keep swinging the hammer while trying to hit the markers to craft on the anvil
Also updated some of the hammer physics, so its easier to control.
Added signs to the shops. Now you can look at the signs and it will tell you who the store belongs to
Updated a lot of the interaction prompts so they face the player
fixed a bug where text when looking at npcs and signs would face the wrong way
Sidequest: added side quests so you can sell to the villagers and earn gold that way
Reward: changed the money sign from a dollar to a medieval coin to better reflect the game's story.
Added tutorial panels when using the crafting stations. Now it will tell you how to use them.
Lighting: added a moon, so now you can see when its dark
Added street lamps for when it's dark, they turn on after 6pm.
Completely implemented all quests for day 1. So now the first day is fully playable up to day 2.
Fixed a lot of bugs with the dialogue and quest system, as well as cleaned up some of the dialogue options. Now it's more simple and straightforward to talk to the townspeople.
Introduced new characters: Valerius: he is the competitor blacksmith you will sell against. He might sell to a customer in the town before you. So you have to be quick every day.
Farmer Giles: He is a friendly farmer at the outskirts of town that will need your help throughout the game.
Fixed a bug where all recipes would be unlocked at start. Now they correctly unlock as the game progresses.
Fixed some bugs with the in-game menu. Now you can change audio, graphics,display options and keybinds during the game.
Fixed a bug where the gold reward would be stuck.
Fixed a bug where the gold reward pop up would not show up again, or be stuck behind another pop up UI.
Added roofs to some buildings, as well as light for the inside.
Updated the UI when heating items with the forge.
Made the iron ingot light up when you heat it on the forge
Changed some unlock systems so now quests will unlock certain items.
That pretty much wraps up the patch. There's also a lot of smaller technical fixes I won't list here.
