Emotes

  • Emotes have been added, triggered randomly using the R key or D-Pad Right on gamepad

  • Emotes can be used in most character states (running, jumping, swimming, soaked, sitting)

Beach Balls

  • Characters can now jump on top of a beach ball and roll around on land or water

  • Spraying beach balls with the water cannon while riding lets you move very fast

Chairs

  • Characters can now sit in chairs

  • Characters can perform emotes while sitting and push to nudge the chair around

  • Items are dropped when sitting in a chair

  • Improved chair cloth physics

  • Chair cloth physics now interact with the ground

Spring Boards

  • Added the spring board, a flexible and bouncy board for jumping

  • Spring boards adjust your jump height, time your jumps with the board moving up to gain extra height

Umbrellas

  • Adjusted the collision for beach umbrellas, removing the bump on top from the pole

  • Umbrella cloth physics now interacts with the character

Windsocks

  • Added new windsocks with interactive physics

Water Balloons

  • Arms of water balloons wave around while they're carried, no more eye covering

  • Water balloons now pop more easily when thrown at characters

Characters

  • Fixed an issue where you could get locked out of stowing or drawing items

  • Added Spin animations for holding water cannon and water balloon

  • Adjusted the stow/draw animation to work better with frisbees

  • Fixed hairs not casting shadows

  • Look at system is now calculated on the client-side and replicated to all other players (was calculated on the server-side)

  • Disabled aiming while rope-walking (this may be re-implemented later)

  • Implemented animations for rope walking while holding a water cannon or water balloon

  • Rope walking movement is now faster

  • Rope walking leaning wobble animation now works while moving, previously it only worked when standing still

  • Fixed characters not looking at water balloons and air balloons

  • Characters now pop water balloons when belly flopping onto them

  • Removed automatic expression change when flopping from a dive

  • Fixed an issue where transitions from shorter movement states to taller movement states would strongly push down the object you were standing on

  • Idle animation is now blended into other actions such as pushing, picking up, running, jumping, and emotes

  • Fixed movement animation physics, this fixes the amount of leaning back while running and performing actions like pushing or grabbing/picking up

  • Increased smoothness in the character's yaw rotation when jumping into and colliding with a surface

  • Added a waiting animation that plays when laying on the ground

  • Fixed hair not squashing and stretching properly

  • Improved hair physics

  • Fixed two issues with clinging onto ropes, involving replication and other players clinging incorrectly

  • Fixed push vfx only appearing for the local player, now all players will see it

  • Added a jump start animation for spinning

  • Improved jumping animations

  • Improved animation for shove and pick up actions while running

  • After shoving or grabbing in the air, animations will change to hands in front instead of back up high

  • Added a tiny jiggle to the character's head when jumping or pushing repeatedly

  • Fixed an issue where getting wet would require you to press the Change Expression input twice for it to take effect, or wait 3 seconds for it to apply

  • Wetness changes now apply a new expression every 3 seconds and allow you to use the Change Expression input at any time

  • Characters now have a smaller "perch" radius, related to how far they can walk off an object before falling off

  • When jumping onto an object just outside their "perch" radius, characters will automatically correct their position towards the object

  • Inherited velocity and angular velocity from objects stood on by the player when entering a jump is now tweaked on a per object basis

  • Fixed an issue where the water breaching animation was not playing the shove animation when shoving

Physics

  • Characters now inherit yaw rotation from the object they're standing on

  • When a character pushes, they create a backwards force on the object they're standing on

  • Firing a water cannon now imparts an opposing force on the object that the character is standing on

  • Tweaked the resistance in the joint for the lever style water obstacle

  • Push force has been adjusted for water balloons, open-top crates, and closed crates

Sound

  • Fixed sound attenuation and effects volume setting not applying for stone and wood jump and land sound effects

  • Fixed sound attenuation for throw and pick up sound effect

UI

  • Updated cursors

  • Added a Reset button in Settings, it resets all settings and input bindings to default, sets window mode to windowed, and sets resolution to a small resolution

  • Added a Reset button in Game settings, it resets all game settings (num rounds, round time, players to start) to default

  • Added functionality to the in-game player list, you can now mute yourself and other players while in-game

  • Player list now shows behind the pause menu

  • Merged the Start button with the progress bar in the lobby UI

  • Fixed the character outline in the portrait, it now shows when hovering the character in the lobby

Misc.

  • Changed visuals for the ocean, removing the white wave crests

  • Window mode and resolution settings now update whenever the game window is resized

  • Fixed issues with switching between displays of different resolutions

  • Slightly changed the volcano mesh and added a shadow to the mouth

  • Slightly decreased size of the frisbee

  • Adjusted the inflatable R model in the main menu

  • Camera mode (close, medium, and far) is now saved between games and sessions

  • Default camera mode changed from medium to far

  • Adjusted default master volume to 50%
