Poproach
A huge, pot-bellied monster that attacks with whip-like arms.
Swells up as it takes damage and explodes upon death.
Paincaster
Ghostboy's first ranged opponent! Its projectiles can hit either the family member’s soul or its protection from afar.
Woeminer
A peaceful goblin… apparently. He goes his own way and scatters cursed mines that eventually spawn relentless shadow creatures, which immediately start following your Buddy.
Updated Enemies
Tank Skeeter
The tank skeeter has a shield that regenerates if you can't destroy the creature in time.
This makes fighting him more unique and tactical.
Updated Towers
Carnivorous Tower
We really liked this tower, but somehow it didn't feel like it was the final form, so we reworked it. It can now be placed anywhere on the map, offering a lot more strategic options. However, only three of them can be active at a time.
Bug Fixes
We fixed a visual bug with Dad’s animations.
We fixed a bug with the display of several entities’ health.
We fixed a bug with the effect of the ‘Calling Helpline’ help.
Improvements
We redesigned the rooms in the shock phase.
We added range visuals to the freely placeable elements to make it clearer where they can be placed.
Damage Feedback Update
We made the Buddies’ damage more visually clear.
We added new animations for projectile impacts.
Tutorials
We improved the tutorial levels visually, adding cards that explain the basic mechanics more clearly.
We redesigned the tutorial distribution for the shock phase and added new information to the tool selection tutorial.
UI
We added tabs to the pause menu to improve the usability.
We enabled allrange visuals for the towers in build mode.
Maps
Controlled Phase
Puzzle Master – It was a bit too difficult for beginners, so we redesigned the layout of the level to make it easier to complete in Easy mode.
Awareness Phase
We wanted to make the middle part of the game more dynamic, so we:
Redesigned the waves on multiple levels,
Updated the layouts to add more variety,
Introduced new enemies here.

Reworking Phase
We loved the final section, but some levels were a bit too long. We've tightened up the pace now, making it more fast-paced and enjoyable. We also added the new enemies to the waves.
Searching the Train - This level was laggy in some cases, so we focused on improving this part of the game as well.
