As previously announced, this will be the final major update for Football Coach: College Dynasty. While I may release small patches to address any remaining bugs, my focus is now shifting to my next project (a Pro Football management game).
I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has played FC:CD and helped build such a passionate and supportive community around it. Seeing this game grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I'm sad to say goodbye, but I'm also extremely excited for what's next. Thank you again!
Now, onto the patch notes.
Coordinator mode:
When starting a new game, you now have 2 new options to select for game mode, allowing you to start your coach career as an offensive or defensive coordinator. You'll be able to work your way up to HC jobs, or move between schools as coordinator, or even go back and forth. It's a super cool way to live a realistic and dynamic coach career, so I hope you try it out!

Life as a coordinator:
As coordinator, you have less control and less responsibility compared to head coach (or school dynasty mode). You are limited to controlling only your side of the ball; this means if you're the OC, you can only call offensive plays, train offensive players in the preseason, set the offensive depth chart, set the offensive game plan, and make promises to retain offensive players. For recruiting, the HC exerts more control by determining which recruits to target and how to assign scholarships and NIL offers, but you can still have input by changing the priority order of your side's recruiting targets, so you can tell the HC to focus on one recruit over another.
Some things will remain entirely in the Head Coach's hands, like booster negotiation, OOC scheduling, and school updates. If you want more control while still playing as coordinator, including full control over recruiting, you can enable God Mode in 'Game Settings'.

Coordinator expectations:
If you are a coordinator, that means your direct boss is the head coach, not the AD. Your head coach will give expectations for the offense or defense at the beginning of the year, and maintain an opinion score of the job you're doing, from 0 to 100. Fall below 0 opinion by failing to meet expectations and you'll be looking for a new job. Exceed expectations and other schools will take notice and may opt to offer you a job in the offseason. Your HC expectations are always based on yards-per-game conditions for conference play, and adjust based on the talent of your team compared to the conference opponents. Additionally, your HC will give bonus opinion score to you for overall team success.

Coach carousel:
Being a coordinator means you'll probably be moving around teams more frequently than a lifetime HC. In the offseason, you will receive job offers from other teams, which can include coordinator jobs as well as HC jobs. These jobs will be better the higher level you are, the better your current job is, and the better you perform in that job. Additionally, if your current HC retires, your AD might offer you the HC job to step up. Or if your HC leaves to a better HC job, they might offer you the job to come along. This part of the offseason is really dynamic as a coordinator, and you have a ton of freedom to craft a unique coaching career each time.

Other changes:
Read the full list of changes below, including some balance adjustments, new playoff settings, UI changes, and bug fixes. One neat change is the addition of transfers to the recruiting class history, which should help in giving the full picture for past years recruiting. Enjoy!

- Add transfers to recruiting class history page
