0.17.3 Early Access Minor Update

User Interface

  • Moved Show Damage Meters setting under User Interface category.

  • Added a new settings category called Gameplay Modifiers, which contains additional options that players can use to customize the gameplay to their preferences. Enabling any option in this category will display a 'Modifiers Active' message in the top-right corner of the in-game screen, indicating that the default behavior of the game has been modified.

  • Moved Zordolf Mode under Gameplay Modifiers category.

Gameplay

  • Reverted the previous change to bleeding intensity. Bleeding once again deals damage equal to 1% of maximum health for each life lost.

  • Blocking an attack will no longer reset barrier recharge cooldown.

  • Added a new gameplay modifier that allows players to disable bleeding mechanic.

Developer Notes: You can now disable the bleed mechanic for no penalty. This will make the game somewhat easier to play and current and future balance and mechanics will still revolve around the default setting where bleed is enabled. It's also worth noting that a lot of players are confusing staggered damage for bleed. Staggered damage is caused by taking the % Damage Taken Staggered stat which deals percent of damage you take over time instead of taking it immediately. Disabling bleeding has no effect on staggered damage.
