Hello everyone! It's finally time for the first regular update after the release :) My plan is to start doing these every 2 weeks from now on, so since today is 10th of June, you can expect the next regular update on June 24th, then on July 8th and so on :)
The development of the game is heavily influenced by your feedback and I'll present the roadmap very soon to outline new content planned for the next 6 months roughly :)
Here is the changelog for this update:
Two new upgraded furnaces which allow 2 and 4 blacksmiths to use them at the same time
Reworked how ingot storage and ore crate work. Now multiple blacksmiths can interact with them at the same time, no more queues for taking and putting resources
Re-balanced mastery tree a bit since players unlocked it way too fast in late game
Added 1x1 ingot storage, 4 times smaller than the existing 2x2 storage
Improved performance significantly in some cases, especially when there are many assistants trying to put items to many different racks. In the save files I used for testing, FPS went from around 10 to stable 30
The game will pause sound when in background
Added option to disable right-click restocking of ingot storage, ore crate and wood pile
When you want to save as new save file, save file name is automatically populated
Reworked how merchant offers are generated. You can now get many more advanced items requested like shields, jewelry, weapons etc compared to getting just low tier items like before
Notifications can now be hidden (either all of them, or certain categories)
Fixed upper edge scroll on MacOS
Fixed situations where assistants would get stuck
Hopefully fixed problem with disappearing cashier
Fixed overlapping labels when save file names are too long
Fixed problem where a prop could be placed outside of grid in mines
Fixed a bug where walls couldn't be deleted if you deleted walls below first
You can now lay off elite worker who gives extra basement floor but only if you remove all items on that floor
Fixed problem with refreshing too many times causing integer overflow and price appearing to be free
Fixed customers prioritizing checkout counters which already have customers waiting while there is a clear better choice
Playing in third person now gives XP to the worker you took control over
Fixed bug where gems wouldn't redistribute properly when you change gem storage type
No longer giving shields as reward when whole mastery tree is unlocked
Please, keep in mind that I'm still the only developer on the game, so if I create some new bugs during Early Access, be sure that I will work on fixing it immediately :) Thank you for playing Blacksmith Master and can't wait to hear your feedback on this!
