A new patch has just gone live, packed with important fixes and improvements based on your valuable feedback. We've focused heavily on addressing critical issues across various maps, especially Level 4 and Level 5, as well as general quality-of-life updates.
Here are some of the most important highlights from this patch: Level 4 & 5 Progression Fixed: We've adjusted resource availability (especially Parts) on Levels 4 and 5, ensuring all paths for interacting with cannibals are now viable and you can progress smoothly.
Units resource consumption change: To prevent unnecessary losses, units will now instantly replenish food and water when near death.
Airport Map Overhaul: Expect significant improvements to the Airport map, including fixes for loading/saving issues and the addition of mutated deer as a new food source to balance resources.
Production & Resource Reliability: We've addressed various production bugs in late-game buildings like the Metal Mine, Wood Factory, and Oil Pump, plus fixed the scrap collector not gathering Parts properly.
Here’s what else is new and improved:
General Fixes & Improvements Happiness System: Tweaked happiness calculations for houses. Fixed a bug affecting how house residents' happiness was calculated.
Unit Behavior: Units will now instantly replenish food and water when near death to prevent unnecessary losses.
Cemetery Mechanics: Skeletons will no longer be created on the ground when a Graveyard is built.
Production Buildings: Addressed several production issues in later-game buildings, including the Metal Mine, Wood Factory, and Oil Pump, to ensure smoother resource generation.
Language Settings: Fixed saving and loading of selected game language in the locale dropdown. Internal Development: Disabled save testing keys (not visible to players). Miscellaneous: Various other minor tweaks and bug fixes included.
Level 5 - Specific Fixes & Updates Core Functionality: Implemented a significant round of fixes for Level 5 issues.
Save and Load Fixes: Improved stability for saving and loading on this map. Resource Collection: Parts Collection Fix: The scrap collector now correctly gathers "Parts" resources. Updated WorkSources list to reflect correct resource points.
Map Navigation & Visuals: Navmesh (navigation mesh) has been updated for improved unit pathfinding. Updated colliders for better object interaction.
Work Positions Alignment: Corrected work positions for resources to align properly with the updated navmesh and terrain height. Fixed the Electric Pump's build position and removed its "floating" appearance.
Camera position and border changes. Gameplay & Balance: New Food Source: Added mutated deer to the map to improve food resource availability. Hunters now reliably find and work at available dead animal spots. High-tech access for Level 5 has been fixed.
Level 4 - Specific Fixes & Updates Core Functionality: Implemented a range of fixes for Level 4 issues. Save and Load Fixes: Improved stability for saving and loading on this map.
Resource Collection: Parts Collection Fix: The scrap collector now correctly gathers "Parts" resources. Updated WorkSources list to reflect correct resource points. Fixed Oil Pump resource production on this map.
