It’s finally here! The biggest Redeemart update yet!
This update has the most game content yet! This major release contains the next quarter of the story (taking the game to 75%! So close to finished!). With this section of the story, I’ve really tried to go all out: a new weapon, new Redeemosts, new upgrades, half a dozen new gameplay modes, adding up to 90 minutes of new content! Of course, to go alongside it, there are even more technical improvements: performance improvements, bug fixes, and improved resolution and monitor support.
Good things take time
I know this update has been a long time coming. As I say, it’s quite literally been the most work since the initial release. And I wanted to deliver as much as possible. For me, getting through this section has been a massive effort. That said, I want to reiterate that I remain completely committed to completing Redeemart: A Convenient Apocalypse! The end is in sight now! And I expect this final quarter of the story will be much easier to deliver.
What’s next?
So what is next? With this release, I expect there will be some more minor updates containing bug fixes and potentially quality-of-life improvements. That said, I want to move on to finishing the story very quickly after this. My plan with releases has changed multiple times now, but presently my goal is to focus on finishing the story above all else. Once that’s done, there will be time for any remaining promised improvements and features.
Finally, I would like to clarify one more time that when Redeemart: A Convenient Apocalypse enters full release, I do plan on increasing the price. I want to be fully transparent about that. This has been a 10-year project for me, and the amount of content and quality warrants a higher price in my opinion. This is not even to mention the amount of inflation that has taken place even just during the course of this Early Access period. So if you’d like to get it at a reduced price, now is the time.
All that said, thank you so much for your continued support! This truly has been a labour of love, and I appreciate everyone who’s supported the game. Full steam ahead, it’s time to finish this thing!
John
