Hey all, we've got our first patch out! Here's the new changes you can expect as of June 9, 2025. Our forums are open, so don't be afraid to share your ideas or any bugs you find.
Dual Combat Steam Forum
Now for the report:
1.01 Bug Fixes
Level Select
zone tab is now correctly highlighted when hovering or selecting.
Fixed issue where title card would not show up upon entering level.
Story Mode
Getting hit by a cannonball now displays proper visual effects
Improved long loading times in levels 3-4, 3-5, 3-6.
Fixed issue where sticky bombs would get trapped inside wooden crates.
1.01 Improvements
Codecs & Cutscenes
Updated textbox to display interaction button icon instead of arrow icon.
Updated "skip" button to say "skip (hold)".
Included various minor formatting improvements.
Known Bugs
Investigating glitch where using the morph gun to morph an object while simultaneously teleporting it will displace it.
Investigating bug where pushing a movable object towards a wall via the bomb launcher will cause it to rebound too early.
Investigating glitch where bombs do not detonate while attached to enemy shield. (Currently unable to replicate so anyone who experiences this please drop a post in our 🐜 Bug Reporting sub forum 🐜)
Investigating bug where morph gun objects can be pushed inside of each other under certain conditions.
That covers everything to expect in this patch update. Starting today we will be going on break for two weeks. After the break we will be back to bugfixes, alongside reworking the endgame cutscene and improving zone 3 optimization. Players can expect a new update by the end of the month.
