Patch notes

General:

  • Several typos were fixed.

  • An alternate answer to a specific keyboard entry part has been allowed after much feedback. This doesn't open a new path, it's just quality of life. Or death, in this case.

  • The game will remember you put it on full screen when launching it again.

  • The game will remember you solved an Exploration Segment during important post-Exploration Segment visual novel segments.

  • You will no longer warp back in time out of nowhere during Day 2 Side A.

  • A segment that wasn't supposed to be accessible is now properly not accessible again. If you already accidentally unlocked it, you get to keep it, but shh, what's in there is a spoiler without context. Unfortunately, information retention is permanent for real people too, so you'll have to live with this knowledge.

  • The Lore Flowchart now has proper marks for which Lore is inaccessible in Early Access.

  • A certain character sheet displayed something weird and it has now been removed, 4 years after it was canned. About time.

  • A certain change on the flowchart didn't happen under specific circumstances and now it happens.

  • It is no longer possible to sequence skip by accessing certain Exploration Segments on Side B without reaching the Exploration Segment first.

Exploration Segments:

Side B

Day 1:

  • A certain character will now properly disappear from the map after you do something stupid but useful.

Day 2:

  • It is no longer possible to commune with the dead.

Day 3:

  • Taking care of plants will no longer kick you out of where you previously stood. The dissenting plant insurrection has been quelled.

  • Interacting with a certain hotspot on a certain object up the ladder will no longer cause the console to stubbornly stick around in a show of defiance.

Reported bugs to be fixed in a future patch:

  • During some part, multiple music tracks play on top of one another. Exiting to the main menu and returning fixes this, but a more permanent fix will need more accounts of this happening (or a bit more time so I can test myself).

  • Opening the map while in the computer corner makes it disappear until the down arrow is pressed (twice?).
