V1.0 Patch Notes:

The game is now complete, and all biomes are in place. You can play from start to finish!

New Content & Features

New Biome: Explore the treacherous new Chaos biome, featuring its own Miniboss and the Final Chaos Boss.

New Bosses: Face off against the fearsome new Fire and Wind Elemental Bosses.

New Arcanas: Unleash the power of 12 new Chaos Arcanas.

New Medallion: Discover and utilize a brand new Medallion.

Unlockable Cosmetics: Acquire new cloak symbols by completing contracts.

Relic Availability: All relics are now available for purchase from Moulin in the Hub.


Balance & Gameplay Adjustments:

Arcana Tweaks: Many arcanas and their variants have received gameplay and balance tweaks and improvements.

Boss & Miniboss Balance: Significant balance changes applied to all Bosses and Minibosses, with a particular focus on multiplayer encounters.

Challenge Adjustments: Balanced Taffy, Wizard Challenge, and Champion Chests in both single and multiplayer modes.

Improved Bet Challenges: Bet Challenges have been refined for a better experience.

Serjik Appearance Rate: Serjik is now more likely to appear in his tournament for a fight.

General Polish: Implemented many small polishes and improvements to the overall gameplay and balance.


UI & Audio Improvements:

Element Selector: Added a tutorial video for each element in the element selection menu at the beginning of the game for clearer choices.

Charge Bar: Introduced a charge bar to make charge attacks more intuitive and visually clear.

Sound Effect Feedback: Added and improved many sound effect feedbacks throughout the game.

System & Resource Changes:

Resource Simplification: Removed the Chaos Core resource. All Nazradin runes can now be unlocked with Chromo.

Resource Caps: A cap has been set for both Chaos Gems and Chromo.

Bug Fixes

Gameplay:

Fixed a bug where players could leave the combat area in the jungle biome while enemies were still alive.

Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on shopkeepers by dashing into them.

Fixed a bug where players could skip a combat zone by pointing outside of it while casting the Heavenly Assault arcana.

Fixed a crash that occurred when changing keybindings with different keyboard language layouts.

Fixed an issue where some vases in the castle biome spawned in empty spaces.

Fixed a bug where dashing into an empty space in the Nox level could cause the player to respawn at the beginning of the level.

Fixed a rare issue that could cause the game to freeze when interacting with the Forgotten Arcana Variant or the Enhance Arcana Crystal.

Fixed a rare issue that prevented players from starting a new game.

Fixed a bug where the helping wizard in the Forest Guardian challenge wouldn't attack enemies until taking the first damage.

Fixed an issue where the helping wizard in the Forest Guardian challenge could be pushed out of the combat zone and couldn't return.

Fixed a bug where equipping a health item would play hit feedback.

Fixed an exploit where Inferno Barrage could be abused by dashing while casting it.

Fixed a bug where players could die from Bahador's projectile after his death.

Fixed an issue where killing an elemental boss with Shock Assault could cause the player to face the wrong direction.

Fixed a rare game crash during the Atlas cutscene.

Fixed a bug where opening the pause menu while falling into a pit would cause the player to get stuck in an empty space.

Fixed an issue where Serjik might disappear during his post-dialogues in the first encounter of the Serjik Tournament.

Fixed a bug where Jabbara pits didn't work properly if they spawned in the player's location.

Fixed an issue where Jabbara's phase change could be interrupted by the Freeze status effect.

Fixed some incorrectly placed invisible walls across all biomes.

Fixed a bug where pressing the space button would swap Nox shop items instead of buying the current item when the arrow on the UI was pressed.

Fixed an exploit where the Champion Chest and Forest Guardian could be damaged before the fight started while the player was out of range.

Fixed an issue where players could leave the combat zone after activating the teleport in the castle biome.

Fixed "Sparking Flame Breath" causing sparks from friendly projectiles.

Fixed a bug where dashing into an enemy burned by Searing Rush did not trigger an explosion.

Fixed an issue where closing the controlled disconnect pop-up while the game was paused would unpause the game while the UI is still open.

Fixed a bug where the desert snake could deal damage twice with a single ability if the player stood at the edge of the attack.

Online Co-op:

Fixed an issue where the jungle's explosive mushroom did not work properly if the server was far away.

Fixed a bug where the desert's snake dart did not work properly if the server was far away.

Fixed an online issue where selecting "Return To Hub" as the host while a client was interacting with a shop led to a showstopper on clients.

Fixed a rare issue where a client might spawn in the wrong location in the hub after accepting an invitation.

Fixed clients disconnecting from the session when starting the run if the host had gone offline at least once.

Fixed Inferno Barrage not behaving correctly on clients.

Fixed barriers sometimes remaining on clients with poor internet connections.

Fixed moving far away from the combat area in the Nox level as a spirit leading to unintentional post-process issues.

Fixed players getting stuck if they stood in a barrier location before its activation.

Fixed laggy spirit movement on clients.

Fixed spirits not having an icon on the map.

Fixed an issue where dashing into a pit and instantly walking back towards it could allow the client to walk on it.

Fixed bought arcana from Serjik as a client not saving correctly when the player left the session and played in solo mode.

Fixed player indicators not working correctly after cutscenes or revival.

Fixed some resource counts not displaying correctly on the Run Summary screen.

Fixed clients sometimes see unbreakable vases.

Fixed clients being unable to interact with the mirror while another player was using it.

Fixed the resources UI not updating while the player was in Spirit mode.

Fixed the aura around the Enhance Arcana Crystal Challenge and Chest Challenge, which did not turn red after activation on clients.

Fixed player fall animations not playing properly on other clients.

Fixed the Wizard Duel health bar, which sometimes does not disappear for the client after a battle with the wizard.

Fixed health crystal collisions sometimes remain on clients.

Fixed clients not seeing information about the automatically first selected arcana when opening the Player Info tab using a joystick.

Fixed clients sometimes see two wizards in the same room in the Jungle biome.

Local Co-op:

Fixed Healing Room items disappearing after a client interacted with the statue.

Fixed guest player's controller keybindings resetting each time.

Fixed all players spawning in the same spot after using a teleport in local co-op mode.

Fixed closing the teleportation map while standing in a teleport station, causing the interaction to disappear.


Relics:

Fixed Relic of Legend being incompletable if the player reached the maximum number of relics.

Fixed Mordeon’s Gem to count gold collected by all players instead of only the relic’s owner.

Fixed Spectral Hourglass only prevented death twice.

Fixed healing relics sometimes stop working after a while.

Fixed Gaia's Shovel not working on the client with the Impaling Drill Arcana.

Fixed Ring of Ouroboros not working properly.

Fixed signatures bar being able to charge while the player was carrying the "Sharpened Stylus" relic via Esme's upgrades.

Fixed the Tir's Blessing relic being abused by canceling the cast of Lightning Spear arcana with a dash.

Fixed Figure Skating Blades relic not working properly.

Fixed The Eagle Feathers relic not working correctly with the Spine of the Archimnagi and Sharpened Stylus relics.

Fixed dropping Armor of Golden Tears while carrying the Fall Medallion causing the player to heal constantly.

Fixed Sampling Needle not dropping health globs when the Elemental Wizards changed phase.

Fixed Healing Signature not working properly.
