That launch is crazy! We got the Overwhelmingly Positive rating on the store page extremely fast, and sales are going much much faster than I expected. Thanks to this I'll be able to continue my life as an indie dev! Thank you so much 💌
As always, a big thanks to people who reported bugs and issues on the Steam forums and on our discord. Here is a small update that fixes most of those.

Balancing

  • "Excite" card now costs 6 instead of 5.
  • Slight tweak to shiny probabilities. Shinies are slightly rarer than before in the late game but repeating spots with the max magnifier ability will boost the shiny chance slightly. This is a very small tweak but it will make it a tiny bit easier to find a specific shiny without making them feel less special.

Bugs and fixes

  • Fixed shiny Roly Poly sprites having the wrong size in some UI panels.
  • Fixed achievements for catching all bugs in an area sometimes not triggering properly.
  • Fixed another visual bug on number of bugs and candies when selling a large number of bugs at once.
  • Fixed cards stacking in your hand if you used "Copy Action" after your opponent used "Amnesia".
  • Fixed minor bug that would induce a tiny lag if you launched the game with a demo save that contained no bugs caught.
  • Fixed typo on Roly Poly flavor text.

Other

  • Save backup will now happen a bit more often after you finish the game.
  • You cannot use honey during the animation after you caught or missed a bug.
