Hi friends,
for those who aren't familiar with our Beta procedure, please read the following explanations. For everyone else, feel free to jump to the next column.
We started rolling out BETA versions of our game first, followed by the regular update 1-2 weeks later. If you're interested in participating as a beta user, simply head over to your Steam library, click the cog wheel, select "Properties" > "Betas" and choose "public-beta" from the drop-down menu.
If you prefer to wait for the regular update, there's no need to do anything but sit tight, as it will be coming soon.
For those interested in exploring the world of VR HOT beyond Steam (General News, our Patreon page with the Quest version and AI features, etc.), make sure to join our Discord server [HERE] or check out our Patreon [HERE]!
This update brings a mix of practical improvements and cutting-edge features to enhance both performance and usability. One of the most noticeable changes is the new Player Calibration system. Previously complex and finicky, adjusting your virtual body to match your real-world proportions is now a lot easier and far more accurate.
We’ve also made substantial progress in player body control. Movements are now more stable and consistent, significantly reducing glitches and improving overall immersion. In line with this, we’ve removed the old “Dynamic” Player Position system and introduced a new default body handling method that is more predictable and less prone to issues.
A small but important control change: the default controller mapping for locomotion has been updated, with left and right controls swapped. If this doesn't suit your preference, you can easily adjust it via Main Menu > Settings > Controls.
For those on high-end hardware (4070 should be fine), we’re introducing experimental raytracing support. While still in early stages, this feature brings more realistic lighting and reflections to the experience—pushing visual fidelity to the next level.
Also new in this update: Lips and Jaw Physics. No more awkward clipping—lips and jaws now use colliders, resulting in far more realistic facial movement and interaction. Please let us know if this fix leads to different looking Hotties!
As always, this update includes numerous bug fixes and more improvements, check out the full list of updates below!
Take care
