Survey expedition reporting again. Engineering continues deploying corrective patches. Please note that these changes appear only in the beta2025 branch.
This update focuses on removing some rough edges (pun intended) in rendering.
We've also tested the game on Steam Deck and hope it will be reviewed for official compatibility soon.

- Gfx - Added Dithering (removes banding in gradients, overlays and light effects)
- Gfx - Added Enhanced edges (makes edges more stable when Depth of Field is on)
- Gfx - Updated textures to reduce edge flickering
- Gfx - Minor changes to rendering to improve edge stability
- FIX - Company logo fade at game start jumped abruptly
- FIX - Loading bar stopped for a while at the end of loading screen

- Audio - more natural sound panning
- Audio - made text log character appear blip slightly louder
- FIX - Audio - player-centric sounds, like footsteps were sometimes panned to the side
- FIX - Audio - text log character appear blip didn't always play
- FIX - Input - cursor stutter due to a thread synchronization issue in cursor latency minimization code

- FIX - Possible instability in the audio subsystem
- FIX - Slight darkening on screen edge (from blur shader)
- FIX - Typo in a subtitle

*** ACCESS PROTOCOL ***
- Restart the Steam client if it's currently running
- Right click on The Swapper in the Steam library. Click properties.
- Select the Betas tab
- Select beta2025 from the Beta Participation dropdown
- Initiate patch sequence and confirm update completion
- Please note that if you switch to this branch, the save will not be backwards compatible. You can back up your save by copying the Documents\Facepalm Games\The Swapper 1000\ directory

- Please relay anomaly and instability reports via designated comment frequency (please include your system information e.g. operating system version). Anticipated public stream integration of patches imminent.
