The Patch 1.8.5.3 for The Land Beneath Us is here!
A brand-new "Blessing & Curse" pack is now available in the Soul Shard Shop, unlocked after completing the main story. This update brings new weapons, relics, chips, and a challenging new quest. We've also added fresh animations, refined balance and status effects, and fixed numerous bugs to improve gameplay across the board. We're also working on a Resume feature, allowing players to leave or exit the game and continue later from where they left off.

Blessing & Curse pack
The soul shard shop unlocks after completing the main story. A new pack, "Blessing & Curse” has now been released! It includes:
Weapons
Blessing Katana
Cost: 20,000 soul shards
Description: Hit an enemy 1 tile away, then move to the tile behind them. When hitting the enemy, 10% chance to receive a random buff for 3 turns. Max Level: Increases to 20% chance.
Blessing Sniper
Cost: 20,000 soul shards
Description: Fire a shot 5 tiles away. Damage depends on the hit range. 10% chance to gain a random buff for 3 turns when hitting an enemy. Max level: Fires a shot 7 tiles away instead.
Curse Sniper
Cost: 20,000 soul shards
Description: Fire a shot 7 tiles away. Damage depends on the hit range and status effect turns. 20% chance to gain a random buff for 2 turns when hitting an enemy. Curse: 20% chance to gain a random debuff for 2 turns when hitting an enemy.

Fast Forward

Lv.1 Description: Cast Fast Forward. Resets all chips and teleport cooldown immediately.
Consume Wave
Cost: 30,000 soul shards
Lv.1 Description: Cast Consume Wave. Consumes all your buffs and debuffs to randomly deal 11 - 15 DMG per stack to all enemies.
Gloria
Cost: 30,000 soul shards
Lv.1 Description: Cast Gloria to self for 3 turns. Your attacks have a 25% chance to receive 3 Souls or Soul Shards.

Crimson Burning Blade
Description: Hit an enemy 1 tile away. Apply 1 Burn per 3 Lord souls and gain a 20% chance to consume the enemy's Burn stack to deal 5 DMG per stack. (Current: apply x Burn stacks)
Added a new status effect: Receive Souls Per Hit Chance Description: Your attacks have a x% chance to receive 3 Souls or Soul Shards.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where Zero Sven might not spawn.
Fixed an issue where Nuada’s image in the Boss Archive was incorrect.
Fixed an issue where Chip Mode automatically switched from Manual to Auto when the chip was activated.
Fixed an issue where the Hidden Dagger relic had no effect on bosses.
Fixed an issue where the Nuada Ring relic didn’t heal for 5% of total damage.
Fixed an issue where the Adar Llwch Feather relic incorrectly applied the Bonus Damage status effect on a critical hit.
Fixed an issue where The Basher incorrectly increased the Bonus Damage status effect on every hit during a single turn.
Fixed an issue where removing the Provoking Mask did not reset the enemy's damage reduction.
Fixed an issue where the Thunder chip applied an incorrect amount of stun.
Fixed an issue where the Explosion chip displayed an incorrect image.
Fixed an issue where the Additional Flat Damage was calculated multiple times in a single turn.
Fixed an issue where a permanent status effect could be removed when using the Consume Wave chip.
Fixed an issue where the Permanent Immunity status effect displayed two icons when the player enhanced the Band of Immunity relic.
Fixed an issue where some status effect icons displayed incorrect values.
Fixed an issue where a status effect icon was not disabled after being used.
Fixed an issue where challenge conditions were not reset when entering another mode.
Balancing & Gameplay Changes:
Adjusted the maximum stack limit of the Shield Absorb status effect to 10.
Increased base damage of the sword-type weapons by +10%
Increased the impact damage by +50%
Increased the Hidden Boss’s HP and damage.

Localization Updates:
Fixed an issue where some words are typos in the French language.
Updated more information for the relics’ descriptions.
Relics
Auto Loot System (Normal): On clearing a room, destroy all breakables in the room. +30% Bonus Gold and Bonus Souls.
Auto Loot System (Enhanced): On starting a room, destroy all breakables in the room. +50% Bonus Gold and Bonus Souls.
Guard Up (Enhanced): On starting a room, apply 1 Shield Absorb to yourself.
Status effects
Burn Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 3 Burns.
Poison Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 3 Poisons.
Stun Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 1 Stun.
Blind Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 1 Blind.
Disarm Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 1 Disarm.
Mark Inflict Enhance: Your attacks have a x% chance to apply 3 Marks.
Shield Absorb: Block DMG 1 time per stack. DMG taken will heal you instead. (Max: 10 stacks)
Known Issues:
Sven can move onto the same tile as the lava totem in the Caorthannach room.
The cursed effect of the Cursed Auf's Revolver doesn't cancel when the weapon reaches its maximum level.
The mini-boss and boss have incorrect HP values.
The counter equipment doesn't work against moving enemies.
The Piggy Bank relic icon is missing its current value display.
The Provoking Mask doesn't update enemy damage data in Inspector Mode.
The status effect of an enhanced relic is not displayed in the Archive panel.
