Skill Tree Overhaul!

• Skill Pages Reworked:

Redesigned Skill Learning, Active Skill Setup, and Passive Skill Setup pages in the game menu.

All skills are now displayed using skill icons.

Skills require prerequisite unlocks before learning the next one.

• Active Skill Page:

Equip quick access skills for combat.

• Passive Skill Page:

View and manage passive skills, active effects, and detailed effect entries.

Passive skills can now be activated in two different ways: Skill Equip Mode and Auto-Activation Mode. In Auto-Activation Mode, the skill takes effect automatically once the player acquires it. In this mode, the same character can have an unlimited number of passive skills activated simultaneously.

UI Module Updates

• Character Info Module:

Reworked character status UI in the game menu.

• Detailed Stats Page:

Displays temporary effects, abnormal resistances, etc.

Old static data panel has been removed.

• New Event - Overlay Message Box:

Displays a focused message in the center of the screen.

One message shows at a time; the next event starts when it ends.

• Dialog Improvements:

Portrait positions are now configurable.

Full preview of dialog effect available based on current settings.

• Custom UI Enhancements:

Quest tracker now supports auto-tracking a number of quests.

Manual quest tracking available via the quest menu.

Fixed issues with variable bar visibility.

Added default images for game menu buttons.

Character speech bubbles now show smaller, refined text.

• Visual & Message System Enhancements:

Improved visual feedback for status effects, combo counters, and damage numbers.

Message popups now support 3 messages at once; excess messages enter a queue.

Updated default quest and story icons; old icons moved to internal map resources.

More end icons now available for message systems.

Fixed HP bar text scaling issues at different font sizes.

• RPG/SRPG Battle Menu Updates:

Fully redesigned battle UI, logic, and skill/item preview systems.

Added quick skill access, tile-based effects, and better enemy feedback in SRPG mode.

Map Updates

Added “Function – Fast Travel Landing Point” for precise fast travel positioning.

Added “Function – Battle” to trigger combat when touched.

Objects now support custom collision sprites via “Image – Object Collision Mask”.

Editor can now show collision masks for map objects.

Dialogue Editor Updates

Streamlined UI for easier use.

Displays default language data to assist localization.

Improved preview font clarity; fixed blurred outlines.

Editor Enhancements

Image Filters: Toggle visual filters in Basic Settings – Image Settings.

Added Rough Pixel Mode for large pixel block visuals.

Hitbox animations now support glow effects at night.

Variable setting now allows random value ranges.

UI updated across component editors and windows.

Improved layouts for Map Structure, Key Settings, and effect/skill selectors.

Engine Updates

Dodge Formula Adjusted: Slightly increased evasion rates.

Passive Skill “Persist” Updated:

Removed max trigger rate.

Now guaranteed to trigger under HP threshold.

180s cooldown, resets after rest.

Effect Adjustments:

“Enlarge” / “Shrink” affect hitbox size and jump height.

Camera zoom via mouse wheel.
