The Valiant Vessel, AKA Funk, AKA the second character on the character select, has received a rework to make them more on par with the Volitional Vessel, AKA Monk, AKA the third character on the character select.

When you dash into an enemy, you can pick another direction to dash towards. This can be done indefinitely until you hit a wall, or are countered by an enemy (Example: You dash into a Crab's claw, ending your dash chain). Every other dash performed this way will grant an extra letter, so try to string together long chains of dashes! If you just wish to dash once, you can press space to enter the regular player state again.
