Brushed up some scenarios and adjusted translations.
◆Main changes
- Based on player feedback—“Why doesn’t the landlord simply ask the tenants ‘Are you a yokai?’”—we have added a new dialogue choice in Chapter 1 that allows you to directly pose this question.
This adjustment is intended to help players more fully experience the emotional and relational complexities that underpin the story.
Rather than focusing on whether there is a “correct” answer,
we hope this addition conveys the emotional and logical weight of choosing to confront someone.
- Added new lines to Chapters 4 and 5 to further explore Yokai impersonation and its implications.
- We have adjusted several lines in the English translation where overly liberal translations made it difficult to convey the subtle nuances of the original Japanese script and affected the difficulty of constructing “suspicious” as a form of evidence.
(Select lines in Simplified Chinese have also been adjusted accordingly.)
