May 2025 update adds an option to use the new screen capture APIs in cause of issues with the default method. By enabling Prefer modern screen capture option from Screen & pointer options, new capture APIs (WGC) is used instead of the default (DXGI).
Additionally, Screenbits can now detect if Camera or Microphone are not accessible due to Windows Privacy settings. It prevents recording error and lets you know before recording starts.
A few UI improvements and bug fixes are also applied in this update.
