v0.8.12 - Easy Mode Actually Means Easy Now

So, a few brave pilots reached out and said:
"Hey... why is Easy Mode bullying me?"

Fair point.
I grew up in the pixelated trenches of the 80s, where games didn’t care about your feelings - only your reflexes ( and yeah, they were unfair most of the time ).
But times have changed, and you're absolutely right: Easy mode should be easy. Who am I to gatekeep your joy?

So, I’ve made some changes. Here’s what’s new in Easy mode:

  • Enemies decided to stop being jerks (for the most part) and will no longer spit bullets at you just because you're nearby.
  • They're a bit slower now, shoot fewer bullets, and take a coffee break between shots.
  • You now get an extra shield with each life. Because you deserve it.
  • Your bullets hit harder now. Because if you’re gonna shoot stuff, it might as well explode properly.

These changes only apply to Easy mode. If you want the old-school challenge, Medium and Hard are still full of pain and regret.

Also, across the game:

  • Fixed a few things that were confusing or misleading.
  • Extended the duration of some timed bonuses (like Super Rapidfire) so you can enjoy the chaos longer.
  • Squashed a few bugs that were crawling where they shouldn’t.

Hopefully this makes the experience more fun, less frustrating, and a little more fair.

Stay safe out there, pilot 🛸
And if you’re still struggling... well, there's always God Mode (just kidding... or am I 😉 ?).

P.S. I’m really grateful for the feedback - keep it coming! I’m reading everything.
Just keep in mind this is a side project for me, so it might take a bit to address things. Thanks for your patience and support ❤️
