We've got a fresh new update for Sky Is Arrows, and while it's not the biggest content drop ever, it's one of those quietly transformative ones—the kind that makes the game feel better every time you touch it.
Let’s dive into Update 21!

Tiered Castle Splash Images
When you recruit armies from your castle, you’ll now see something new:
Gorgeous splash images for each faction’s castle—updated dynamically based on the castle's current tier.
Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 castles now have their own unique artwork. That’s 3 images per faction, giving a visual reward as your stronghold grows.
This brings a bit more world-building and beauty to a key part of the game loop. Consider it a visual "you’re progressing" moment, even between fights.
UI Improvements – Cleaner, Crisper, Smarter
Let’s be real: some of the UI elements were still living in the past. Cool 3D spins and tilted panels looked fun, but in practice? A little distracting.
Here’s what we’ve improved:
- Removed 3D animation effects from 2D UI panels (no more unnecessary spinning or angled text boxes)
- Updated fonts across many parts of the interface for better readability and a cleaner aesthetic
Overall, menus now feel more modern, more polished, and more Sky Is Arrows.
This is part of an ongoing push to improve every part of the game experience.
One New Loading Screen
A small surprise: you may now occasionally load into the game with a new screen featuring the Necromancer—relaxing with her golden goblet, presumably full of something unspeakably cursed.
Is she plotting something? Celebrating a successful rise-again loop? Who knows. But she looks good doing it.
Still 11.1... Forever?
Yes, this is technically version 11.1—just like the last update.
Will it always be 11.1? Maybe. It’s a vibe now.
What’s Next?
I’m still listening. These UI improvements came directly from your feedback—and there’s more refinement to come. More cosmetic flavor, quality-of-life tweaks, and yes... some new content is brewing behind the scenes.
Thanks for playing! You all are part of the design now, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
