Surrender & Arrest System

Tactics matter more than ever. Enemy NPCs can now surrender. Use your voice-over commands (JOYSTICK-UP) and flashlight to force compliance, then secure them with zip ties. This introduces a SWAT-inspired arrest system, giving you more non-lethal options when clearing rooms. Expecting you all to get really creative with this one. And excited for what this new mechanic will unlock for future content in TAVR!


VOID Remastered

The classic Void map has been completely rebuilt with enhanced visuals and refined details.
- Reworked and expanded footprint of key zones (bank, sewers, etc.)
- Tons of new objects in the environment to interact with, take cover behind, and strategize around
- New textures and other graphics improvements


New Shootout Map

Your helicopter's been downed and no one is coming to extract you and your team. It's up to you to fight off the enemy threat. Take your last stand in

Sand

— a high-intensity urban warzone where you’ll fight off waves of enemies in up to 6-player co-op on standalone and 8-player co-op on PCVR. This is the second shootout map introduced to TAVR, joining the "City" map.

Full detailed list of additions, updates, fixes:

Enemy Surrendering and Arresting:
• Created various custom enemy animations
• Added additional weapon variety for enemies (AK74SU, UZI, MAC10, G3K) (modeled by Puddle_NL)
• Added Enemy Ai Makarov Pistol (modeled by Puddle_NL)
• Added EnemyAi injured state (limping) to enemies if health drops below 30.
• Updated: Improved Enemy Technical Gunner targeting to find the closest player (accuracy still poopy)
• Added Enemy Surrendering and Arresting. This is a Mission Modifier and must be enabled before a mission (OFF by default)
• Added Voice-Over Commands to lower Enemy morale which can increase likelihood of enemy surrendering

Voice-Over Commands/Enemy Surrendering Tips:
Voice-Over commands only work with the Enemy Surrendering modifier ON. Enemies can decide to hold their position and contemplate their next decision.

Voice-Over Commands:
If an enemy is contemplating, holding JOYSTICK-UP will continually shout "Drop Your Weapon!" voice-over commands to the enemy and lower their morale. The lower their morale, the more likely they will surrender. Some enemies are committed to the cause so not all enemies will surrender, unless forced.

Surrendering:
Enemies can also be forced to surrender or have their morale heavily decreased through non-lethal means such as Flashbangs, Beanbag Shotgun or melee hits. It is also possible to knock an enemy out with a Beanbag Shotgun headshot. The enemy can be detained while in the downed-state.

Detaining:
When an enemy surrenders with their hands up, continue shouting commands to have the enemy drop to their knees. Arresting a standing enemy can also be performed but will take more time to secure.

Securing:
Grab a surrendering enemy by their wrists and hold their wrists until the zip ties are automatically placed. After some time, a confirmation by Operations Command will acknowledge the arrest and the enemy will disappear. An "Enemies Secured" point will be added to the team score.

Maps/Missions Updates:
• Updated VOID Map/Layout/Graphics (Redesigned by Canto/Patient8 Games)
• Added Sand Shootout map. Works with Hostage modifier (protect the injured hostage)
• Updated foliage in Breaking Whisper
• Updated/Optimized trees in Hidden Forest
• Moved Trident Lightning intro spawn to middle of road
• Moved multiplayer lobby menu and start position to lobby briefing room
• Added Spawn Zones to Room Randomizers (great for Force On Force training)
• Updated Room Randomizer doors with middle door frame to have full 150 degree swing

• Added MagPalming (by Justin P. Barnett). Only the magazine held with Trigger can be inserted into weapons
• Added Five-Seven Pistol (modeled by Puddle_NL)

• Added MC51 (HK51-inspired) Battle Rifle (modeled by Puddle_NL)
• Added Bean Bag Shotgun to Shoulder Utilities (Modeled by Puddle_NL) Decrease morale with non-lethal bean bags. Does 0 damage
• Updated GPNVG (Quad Night Vision Goggles) (Modeled by Puddle_NL)
• Updated 12x NXS reticle (designed by Puddle_NL)
• Added additional magazine slot per ammo pouch. 2 magazines can now fit into 1 pouch
• Added: SMG selection will now spawn 2 magazines per ammo pouch
• Added Double Breaching Shotgun shells on shell holder
• Added Player Suppression effect + Bullet Whiz/Pass Sound FX
• Added buttstock grabbing for sniper rifles when bipod is mounted
• Updated: Buttstock door hits now require 2 hits to unlock doors
• Updated: M40 Sniper Rifle mag bullets increased to 10 count

• Updated: Doorknocker, Shooting Door hinges off will no longer shatters doors. Door will break as a single solid piece. Sledgehammer still shatters doors

• Fixed: various Romeo 4T red dot misalignments
• Removed: Grip Button Magazine Grab option due to new Mag Palming implementation/conflicts. Magazine grabbing is by default Trigger Button
• Removed: Magazine collisions with other magazines due to new Mag Palming implementation. Magazines can no longer be stacked on top of each other

Avatar Customization:

• Added: Default Move Speed option to settings menu. You can now default your speed to Auto-Run. Your joysticks will not longer cry in your presence...

Audio Updates:
• Added: Intro music to missions + Intro (Operations Command) Voice Over
• Added: New Voice-Overs (Operations command (Jorin), male (LinearCircle) and female (Rachael Carolane) avatar voice-overs)
• Added: additional enemy vocals (by LinearCircle)
• Added: Enemy Death sounds (by LinearCircle)
• Updated: M4 Rifle sounds
• Updated: MCX Rifle sounds

Network Fixes:
• Fixed: Other Regions (not North America) disconnecting to main menu when exiting to lobby
• Updated/Fixed/Improved PvP: various map loading issues
• Fixed: Kills counting for multiple players after a player is killed. Kills should only count for the first person to kill a player
• Updated: Improved bullet fire position and trajectory sync over network (weapons are still mis-aligned on network avatars). Should make shot groupings more precise on targets over network

• (PCVR) Added over-the-shoulder 3rd person camera to documentary cameras
