We're releasing another hotfix patch. It feels like the number of bugs has significantly decreased, and we hope this will be one of the last hotfixes — the end of this tough journey is finally in sight.
Here’s a list of what’s been fixed:
- Fixed animals getting stuck and controls being disabled during blood collection. After drawing blood or petting, animals would slightly teleport in different directions while searching for the navmesh — this was intended to prevent them from getting stuck if they accidentally ended up off the navmesh. However, it didn’t always work reliably.
- There were many cases where camera control would be disabled when drawing blood from aggressive animals. This has been fixed.
- We've unlocked the ability to collect all samples during boss fights. Many players requested this, even though it's still possible to do so after the fight.
- Added on-screen text in the train section explaining that you need to either heal or finish off the boss to extract the parasite. Many players found this unclear, even though it’s described in the PDA task. Once the Monster's health reaches zero, you must either kill or heal it for the parasite to appear.
- Updated the interaction UI visuals. All interactions are now white, making them easier on the eyes and better fitting the bodycam aesthetic.
- Occasionally, the player would fall through the level if the penguin monster knocked them down mid-flight. This bug was never reported by players — we discovered it ourselves while thoroughly checking AI issues. It's now fixed.
- Fixed an issue where spamming the PDA during the NDA signing cutscene could block player input.
- Fixed a bug where controller input would be blocked when receiving a notification from the doc, preventing the player from closing the message.
- The penguin boss would rarely fly out of bounds when shot mid-air. Players didn’t report this one either, but it’s been fixed.
- The moose monster could get stuck if approached too closely during hypnosis. Fixed.
- If the moose monster was killed while hypnotized, the hypnotized moose would remain frozen in the hypnosis state. Fixed.
- If a save was made while the boss was vomiting the parasite and then loaded, the animal would become immortal. This has been fixed.
- The achievement for unlocking all endings wasn’t being awarded properly. We've fixed this — sorry about that! For players who already unlocked all endings, the achievement will now be granted automatically upon entering the game.
- And other minor visual bugs, like Sarah’s bent knee when she's hanging.
