The V0.0.1 Alpha Release version has officially been released. The following content has been included:
- The Fifty U.S. States, and their political information. All data not up to date will be fixed in the next update.
- Playable offices of the State House, State Senate, and the Governor.
- Player may play as a Republican, Democrat, or Independent.
- All offices can introduce legislation currently, though this will be limited to the legislature later, and the Governor will have to find a legislator who will introduce a bill on their behalf.
- Players are currently unable to vote on legislation. This will be implemented within the next update.
- Added 19 legislative policy proposals to the State government level.
- Added 12 political positions to politicians.
- Added in 25 different executive appointments to the State government level. The governor may nominate from a list of candidates to fill the seats. If the player is Governor, they will be prompted to choose from a list for each office.
- Added in executive confirmation for the State government level. The leader of the State Senate may decide to grant or deny a hearing to a nominee depending on policy agreement. If granted a hearing, members will then vote on whether to confirm the nominee. If confirmed, the nominee will take the office, otherwise the process for executive appointment will repeat. If the player is in the State Senate, they are required to vote in confirmation hearings.
The next update will be released by the end of the week.
