Hard mode is out now! 5 new areas and 4 new entities included! And More!

This update was a tad late because I had to fight a roaming gang of badgers (the honey type (VERY dangerous)). There will be NO elaboration as it is NOT an interesting story.

Hard Mode




You can now select harder runs in the lobby.



This will have a level limit in the future but right now it is open to all. So you must ignore the text that says level 10 clowns only as it's a LIE.

The monsters and areas are more difficult, there's no countdown on the hud and some monsters don't have a glow indicator.

But more rewards and experience for completing. (may still need to balance it.)

New Entities


Gremlin




Gremlins can't outright attack you (only push), but you can't defeat them other than stunning temporarily. (Gives you negative Karma tho!) These mostly cause havoc but are otherwise harmless.

Teacher




Teachers are very fast and patrol endlessly. You can't defeat them, only hide.

Fiend




Mostly hiding in the darkness, Fiends throw bottles of strange chemicals at you causing a Substance status effect and stab you if you get close.

Canary




Since this is another bird, they are fueled by pure anger. They fly and swoop at you if spotted. These can be dodged and defeated if you're able to attack them with a weapon.

New Areas


The Coal Mines




Theme: Employment
Many maze-like tunnels filled with mining gremlins and canaries.

Recess




Theme: Education
Lava everywhere.

Kindergarten




Theme: Education
A dark and dangerous place of learning.

Ice Skate Ring




Theme: Recreation
Very slippery ground and the normies here are very dangerous, keep your distance.

Other New Things


Pick Axe




These don't spawn anywhere, there's a different way to get them. A weapon that can also be used to obtain the next thing.

Coal




These will have a purpose in the future.

Neet Mobile Can Be Broken




Certain things can happen that will break the Neet Mobile. You have to do a mini-game to fix it or you can't leave.

New Status Effects
Substance: Greatly alters your vision.
Pushed: You'll get pushed in a direction

Also max level was raised to 10 and max money was raised to 2000.

Changes and Additions


  • Wood Bat and Pistol are now brighter and easier to see.
  • Society level is now only numbered.
  • Flashlight III and Pistol were buffed in various ways. Pistol always spawns with full ammo too.
  • Getting set on fire is now an instant kill, no more running around.
  • Countdown goes down slower.
  • Base Clown speed buffed.


Bug Fixes


  • The Neet Mobile will now always remove the indicator if Entities are defeated on board.
  • Can no longer shoot self with pistol if firing and walking backwards.
  • Ducks shouldn't just stop randomly and do nothing forever anymore.
  • Neet Mobile Door Lever won't play sometimes when displaying an error.
  • You will now uncrouch if crouched when slipping or getting pushed.
  • Fixed Shopping Cart Entities' sound effects playing at double volume.
  • The Neet Mobile Cockpit will now always count items and entities in it's area.
  • Fixed Start Screen buttons randomly disappearing sometimes.


Lastly

Hard mode may be a bit too hard atm but future things should help.

Next update will be like an item update with new equipment and things. Also holding multiple items at once you can switch between. Most likely have more talents too.
