Healed To Death has been launched!


Developer Note

Healed To Death has finally been released. Thank you everyone that provided feedback prior to release. I'm looking at the post-launch feedback and will be focusing on fixing whatever bugs or missing features that are obvious in hindsight (Wide Screen support, etc). I'll try and get 1.0.1 out with some fixes for the more critical issues that are found. I should have made this release announcement upon launch but better late then never.

Anyway here is what has changed since the Demo.

Major Updates

  • The remaining 6 zones with 18 new bosses and almost 100 new enemies are now available for you to explore and conquer
  • Ghost models of the Mage, Priest, Knight and Corsair have been added to the game as enemies
  • Many new sound effects added for the ghost enemies
  • Ghoul models of the Shaman, Cleric, Berserker & Fighter have been added to the game as enemies
  • Many new sound effects added for the ghoul models
  • Steam Achievements have been added
  • Cloud Saves added


Minor Updates


  • You can now Pass on Upgrades rather than being forced to choose one
  • Reroll Cost now starts at 25 soul fragments rather than 50
  • Speed Boots respawn after 15 seconds
  • Improved the tool tips of Magic Damage & Physical damage to describe which damage types they impact
  • The Frozen Catacombs secret areas get frost particle effects rather than dirt particle effects when you find them
  • You now start the tutorial with 4000 4200 health (you should only need to heal yourself twice now)
  • Enemies should now have an increased amount of sound effects when they take damage
  • Player & Party Members footsteps should be 10% louder
  • The toggle to go into sell mode in the equipment menu now has a sound
  • The gold spawn animation when buying permanent upgrades in town has been speed up for higher cost purchases
  • The time allowed in a dungeon is now either 6 minutes with a bonus for finding the exit or Unlimited time for only a minor bonus.


Balance Updates

  • Various balance changes for bosses not found in the demo
  • Baron Cromwell magic damage has gone from 75% to 50%.
  • Lesser Heal Double Shift's Cast speed reduction is now 10%/20% 20%/40%
  • Greater Heal's Predictive Precast Crit Chances is now increased by 25%/50% 40%/80%
  • Instant Heal's Rapid Fire mana cost increase is now 150% 125%
  • Instant Heal's Emergency Access crit chance increase is now 30%/60% 40%/80%
  • Refresh now costs 325 300 mana
  • Refresh's Recurrence now procs at 25%/50% 20%/40%
  • Refresh's Dedication now increased healing by 100% 125%
  • Chain Heal's Smart Heal now increases mana cost by 150 100
  • Chain Heal's Premium Efficiency now increased the mana cost by 450 300 and refunds 200 110 mana per target hit
  • Absorption's Timed Shield now increases the effect by 200% 250%
  • Phoenix's Ashes Warmth now increases mana cost by 1000 500
  • Light's Hammer's Protective Might effect is now 35% 40%
  • Dispel's Cleansing now heals for 175/350 150/300
  • Ray Of Light now heals for 2000 to 2400 2100 to 2500
  • Ray Of Light's Reaction now triggers with a 33% 50% chance
  • Blooming Life now costs 500 425 mana
  • Blooming Life's Blooming Shield will now shield for 100% 150% of the healing it would have healed
  • Blooming Life's Finishing Blow how triggers on enemy targets at or below 20% 30%
  • Mark Of Reaping now costs 0 350 mana
  • Mark Of Reaping cannot be cast on yourself anymore (there was a broken interaction with Life Transfer that trivialised the game)
  • Mark Of Reaping's Feedback now causes 10%/20% 5%/10%
  • Mark Of Reaping now heals for 75% 65% of damage dealt
  • Soothing Mists Death fog is occurs over 9 15 seconds
  • Soothing Mists Deep Atmosphere now occurs on spells that cost over 500400 mana
  • Circle Of Healing now heals for 800 to 1000 750 to 950
  • Holy Barrier now shields the target for 450 to 600 550 to 700


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Finishing Blow would prevent Blooming Life from working when casted on a friendly target
  • The UI that displays the shop items will now appear in front of the player's UI
  • Removed a couple scenarios where the pathfinding would be broken in the proc gen dungeon
  • Removed the most common scenario where the mouse would disappear on upgrade selection (I am aware that people are still experiencing this and will)
  • Fixed a scenario where enemy target debuffs would show incorrectly
  • The soul fragment UI in a shop should no longer get in the way of swapping between Gear & Spells in the equipment UI
  • Magic Sword's projectile should no longer push enemies backwards
  • The tutorial pop up that explains party controls now correctly uses the correct Sound Bus
  • Fixed a tonne of typos in various descriptions
  • Fixes an issue in the overworld where Gold would spawn in a weird position if you left the dungeon early or died
  • Fixed an issue with the Dynamic music player that would cause it to stop and restart
