April 2025 Patch Notes
These notes are for the test build on the "live" client (which is the client for pre-testing before patch comes to the main Playtest client) - we expect that some things will change by the time it makes it to Playtest.
NOTE: Server Browser servers with "Playtest" in the name are not compatible with the testing version. Use Custom Games for online play for now.
Game Features
-New menu screens
-New game mode that we are prototyping - Track. This mode is meant to provide a fun place for offline (currently) and future potential online play. It’s playable in practice mode
-Return of Rabbit mode
-Duel mode added to custom matches
-Made a pass at fixing the longstanding deadstop bug which we expect solved the issue. Please report instances of any deadstop continuing to occur.
Servers
-Moved custom games to new server hosting provider
UI
-Wholly new UI for the out-of-match experience
-New and updated UI for the in-match experience
-New gameplay HUD
-Tab menu and top bar shows your team on the left and uses friendly / enemy colors. This should enhance clarity of what team you are on, and who has the flag. Team names are displayed for additional clarity
-New Stats screen
-New Loadout screen and Weapon Info
-IFF colors do not use a scroll wheel going forward

-Adjusted spawns so fewer are clustered on the back hill

-Pushed out OOB on all sides
-New spawns to align with new stand
-Art and terrain updates
CTF- Relay
-Adjusted defence pillars angle and height - they now point towards the flag and are shorter
-Moved back spawn to the cliff behind the flag stand
-Fixed some holes in rocks that flags could fall inside of and become inaccessible
CTF-Vortex:
-Adjusted the base layout and spawn locations to improve standoff play
-Adjusted terrain for more route variety
-Added anti-cheese OOB to some of the spiky rocks to prevent players from hiding

-Redid pyramid LODs so that they are consistent models

Known Issues
-In the Loadout menu, you now only see the items that you own as per our back-end. This is a bug, we intend to show the whole list of skins in the game
