Weāve heard you (Just as you heard Jack sighing)! Weāre introducing the Cheer-Up-Date for Autopsy Simulator.Ā This update brings changes to Jackās voice lines, removing some of his sighing during Dead Memories Story Mode and making overall improvements to his voice lines.
Alongside changes to Jackās voice lines, the Cheer-Up-Date brings multiple improvements to existing features and further bug fixes across both Autopsy Simulator game modes- Dead Memories Story Mode & Autopsy Only Mode.

Overall Changes
Changes to Jack's Voice Lines
- Improvements to Jack Hanmanās voice lines throughout Autopsy Simulator, removing the number of sighs throughout Dead Memories Story Mode.
- Increased Jackās audio levels Chapter 5 to ensure all voice lines can be heard correctly.
Improvements to both Game Modes
- Improvements to controller support, including:
- Players can now switch between Controller and Mouse & Keyboard more conveniently.
- Improvements to button remapping/rebinding.
- Improvements to the file save slots to improve their stability.
- Improvements to UV light during external inspections.
- Improvements to Rigor Mortis mini-game, with the cursor now removed during the procedure for added immersion.
- Overall improvements to the in-game settings, with settings now appearing with players saved values at all times.
Bug Fixes in both Game Modes
- Fixed an issue where pausing whilst using the Tools menu could result in players using a tool when resuming the game.
- Fixed an issue where Chromatic Aberration would not apply correctly after enabling it in the graphics options.
- Fixed an issue where Film Grain would not apply correctly after enabling it in the graphics options.
Localisation Improvements
- Improvements to Korean and Japanese languages, removing Tofu symbols for all languages.
Dead Memories
Improvements
- Improvements to HUD and button prompts when holding the camera and interacting with a cadaver.
- Improvements to lighting of the autopsy room and morgue, to make lighting more consistent across all Chapters of Dead Memories Story Mode.
- Improvements to lighting & texture of centrifuge lamp.
- Improvements to controller input functionality, including changes to left stick movements which now only control one object at a time.
- Improvements to the running water sound effects in morgue bathroom.
- Improvements to the lighting of the morgue exterior and parking lot.
- Improvements to Mr. Ridleyās motion during Chapter 1.
- Reduced the sensitivity of the fingerprint ink mini-game during Chapter 2.
- Reduced the sensitivity of the syringe mini-game with glycerin during Chapter 2.
- Improvements to brush pigment sensitivity for teeth cast during Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.
- Improvements to the Electric Suction Device sound effects during Chapter 4.
- Improvements in Chapter 5 to Stevenās animations.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 1, where the sound effect of the first cut organ would loop.
- Fixed an issue where lighting & textures would occasionally flicker in the hallway.
- Fixed an issue where the video camera could clip through the player when they looked down.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 1, where the heart wound icon would occasionally appear on the wrong side of the heart. Icon now appears in the correct injury area.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 1, where the photo of Alice and Charlotte would clip through the envelope.
- Fixes in Chapter 2 with the elevator lighting and elevator floor buttons.
- Fixes to the bucket in Chapter 2, including:
- Fixed an issue where the bucket would occasionally be missing for players if misplaced, causing a softlock when putting the lungs in the bucket.
- Fixed an occasional animation issue when placing the bucket on the sink.
- Fixed an issue where the water bucket would occasionally remain empty after filling.

- Fixed an issue in Chapter 2 with fingerprint scanning. Selecting another fingerprint after getting the right match does not interrupt mini-game progress.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 2 where occasionally an objective would not trigger until players left the cutting board or body.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 3, where the tires would appear as unlashed and normal for some players.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 3, where āAlligator Mississippiensisā was present on a sticky note before comparing the scales to the atlas, causing the player to have the identification result before conducting the comparison.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 3, where the atlas could clip through the shelf when rotated.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 4, where the cursor would reset position after each action with the lopper.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 5, where one of Aliceās voice lines was missing.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 5, where Jack would be occasionally stood upright during the chapterās opening scene.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 5, where the flashlight was too bright when close to objects.
- Fixed a graphical issue during Chapter 5ās secret ending.
Autopsy Only Mode
Improvements
- Improvements to scoring in Autopsy Only Mode.
- Improvements to organsā physics, with all accurate organs now reacting to the playerās movements and will bounce during clipboard reporting.
- Improved the sensitivity during organ cutting, increasing the dot sensitivity during maze mini-games.
- Improvements to bite marks, making their sizing more consistent across the game mode.
- Removal of occasional visible seams on cadavers.
- Removal of traces on internal organs when inspecting with the UV light.
Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where players were able to pick up an organ, pause the game and interact with the organ whilst in the pause menu.
- Fixed an issue where the cursor would occasionally hide for gameplay after a failed Rigor Mortis.
- Fixed an issue where the cadaverās skin flaps would occasionally stutter when opening.
