New Major Update is out now

Greetings, dear FantasyCrafters!

We’re thrilled to finally roll out a major new update—packed with exciting features and fresh adventures! A huge thank you to each of you for your patience and unwavering support. You’re the best!

Before diving in, a quick heads-up:
• If you’re planning to play with friends, we highly recommend exploring the storyline together and unlocking locations as a team—it’s way more fun that way!
• Our game has a brand-new name: Magisterium: Fantasy Craft! Why? Well, "Fantasy Craft" kept getting mixed up with Minecraft mods (sigh), and we wanted something truly unique that fits the game’s lore. Plus, as the story unfolds, you’ll see even more magical elements woven into the world!
• Pro tip for farmers: Before buying eggs or cattle, make sure you’ve got enough wheat and corn to whip up some chickenfeed and cattlefeed. Hungry animals = unhappy farm!

New content galore:
1. A grand new quest kicks off the game’s storyline—starting with Governor Estiel. Adventure awaits!
2. Fresh locations with new blueprints to discover. Time to explore!
3. Travel portals now link all key spots: New location, Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine), Wolfish Hollow, Big Forest, Magic Forest, Damned Place, Elefin’s Ruined Palace.
How to use them?
Repair with a technological repair kit, craft your own portal at the engineering table, and fuel it with processed portalsteins. Just put a processed portalstein into Required items slot, after the portal is activated, chose a place you want to travel to, press craft, step inside the portal and get ready to be teleported.
Pro tip: Always carry extra fuel!
Warning: Teleporting with friends? Everyone hops along—this helps reduce server load. Teamwork makes the dream work!

4. Portalstein – a shiny new mineral powering portals (and future tech—stay tuned!).

5. Technological repair kit – your go-to for fixing fancy gadgets. Grab the blueprint in a new location.
6. Engineering table – will help you to craft a technological repair kit, a travel portal and to process portalsteins. Study the blueprint in a new location.
7. Rock-salt miner – digs up rock salt, alumstones, and mineral soil. Place it on deposits in Wolfish Hollow. Blueprint available in a new location.
8. Clay-soil miner – harvests clay and soil. Perfect for your homestead! Blueprint found in a new location.

9. Grindstone – upgrade tools to rare (70% chance) or epic (45% chance). But beware—failure means losing materials. High risk, high reward!

10. New weapons!
• Iron morning star. Buy from Fred.
• Refined short sword -study in the ruins.
11. Metal alloy parts – new crafting tier!
12. Steles system—no more digging through locked chests! Now, blueprints, manuals, keys, and artifacts are neatly placed on steles for easy studying.

13. Lockpicking skill— is added into your skill table unlocks at level 10. Master all three levels, and chests will bow before you!
14. Crusher—grind stone into sand! Complete Estiel’s 3rd quest to get it ASAP.
15. Expanded building area—now with more space for your dream farm, house, and garden!

16. Iron, coal and copper deposits have been deleted from - Mekhrahn’s mine now holds iron, coal, and copper deposits (where they belong).
17. Primitive building is here! Craft thatch parts from your inventory using sticks, fiber, and ropes. Need long sticks? Chop logs at a stump! Upgrade to wood later if you like.
Farm life just got cuter!
18. Roosters, hens, and chicks—oh my!
• Hens lay eggs (add a rooster for fertilized ones).
• Kill a hen/rooster? Get poultry carcasses (dress them at the butcher’s block) and feathers.
• Buy eggs/roosters from Sebastian, build a hatchery, and incubate eggs for chicks.
• Use chickenfeed to make them follow you. Aww!

19. Wicker fences & gates—buy blueprints from Eugene. Build fences for your poultry and cattle!
Pro tip: Fence don’t attach to each other so please use grid attachment (Alt) for perfect alignment!
20. Cows, Bulls and Calves:
• A cow gives milk. When you see the full milk indicator, approach the cow with a small empty bottle to collect milk.
• Cows can give birth to calves, but you'll need a bull for breeding.
• If you kill a cow or bull, you'll receive a premium carcass that can be processed at the butcher's block.
• Killing a calf yields a small carcass.
• Want your cattle to follow you? Simply feed them cattlefeed!

21. Chickenfeed and Cattlefeed. These recipes can be bought from Sebastian. Chickenfeed and Cattlefeed is cooked in the cook’s stove.

22. Feeders & troughs (chickenfeeder, poultry water trough, cattlefeeder, cattle water trough)—keep your animals happy. Blueprints from Eugene.

• Simple Vials/simple water vials; big cant timber and small blocking lumber; ice; wooden flat plates, wooden soup plates and wooden cups; copper, iron and golden plates - now stack to 100. Less inventory stress!

What’s Next?
We’re already polishing the next major update—expect breathtaking locations, thrilling quests, fearsome bosses, and fresh blueprints! It won’t take as long this time, promise.
Optimization note: We’ve made some experiments with optimization and managed to get some positive results but they are not very visible and if you play with the settings, you can get more fps, but we will keep on working on optimization but it will take more time as we have to concentrate on adding more new content for you to play.
Thank you for being part of this journey! Dive in, explore, and let us know what you think. Happy crafting, adventurers!
