■ Important Announcements

1. We have identified an issue where certain antivirus programs create firewalls that interfere with game access.
If you are unable to connect to multiplayer, we recommend closing your antivirus software and restarting the game.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you for your understanding.


2. We had no choice but to reset all boss respawn timers to fix a respawn bug.
Players who had only three days left for a boss respawn have also been affected, so please keep this in mind while playing.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

3. The If Sunset prologue has been updated.
The prologue offers a preview of what you can experience in the main game.
Please note that some content is restricted in the prologue, unlike the main game.

■ Key Updates for "Life"

Farming

Farming in IFSS has been completely revamped!
Enjoy a more user-friendly UI, a greater variety of crops,
and new buildings to make farming even easier.

• 17 new crops have been added.
  
• 17 new seeds have been introduced.
  
• Attribute fruits that grant buffs based on their properties have been developed.
  
• Crops now grow based on in-game days rather than real-time progression.
  
• Crop growth time is displayed in the UI when aiming at planted crops.
  
• Soil moisture levels (whether water is sufficient or lacking) are now displayed in the UI when aiming at farmland.
  
• Fertilizer status (whether the soil has fertilizer or not) is now displayed in the UI when aiming at farmland.
  
• "Ktuga Resonator" has been added—a device that emits energy to activate automation structures.
  
• "Seed Generator" has been added—it converts crops into seeds. It requires a Ktuga Resonator to function.
  
• "Sprinkler" has been added—it automatically waters the field in the morning. It requires a Ktuga Resonator to function.
  
• "Energy Farm" has been added—it automatically harvests crops in the morning and stores them in a chest. It requires a Ktuga Resonator to function.
  
• "Streetlight" has been added—it emits bright light by receiving energy from the Ktuga Resonator.
  
• "Delivery Box" has been added—it automatically sells stored crops in the morning.
  

Livestock

Animal friends are coming to IfSunSets!
Manage their happiness and obtain new items from them.
And if necessary, you can also harvest meat.

• A new livestock system has been developed in IfSunSets.
  
• A total of 5 adult animals and 5 juvenile animals have been added.
  
• Animals can be raised by registering them in feeding troughs and chicken coops.
  
• Animals can be purchased from Laura, or if two adult animals of different genders are registered, they can produce offspring.
  
• Juvenile animals can grow into adults once they accumulate enough growth points.
  
• Animals can be butchered to obtain meat and bones.
  
• Each animal, when happy enough, will produce special items through unique behaviors.
  
• Sheep produce wool.
  
• Pigs produce various types of mushrooms.
  
• Cows produce manure, which serves as fertilizer for farming.
  
• Dairy cows produce milk.
  
• Chickens produce feathers, and hens will lay eggs if a rooster is present.
  
• Extremely happy hens may occasionally lay golden eggs.
  
• All animals have special variants that produce unique items.
  
• Animals can be enclosed by constructing fences around them.
  
• All animals can be given names.
  
• Hitting an animal decreases its happiness.
  
• Chicken feed, called "Grain Mix," can be crafted with 2 wheat or purchased from NPCs.
  
• Hay, the feed for sheep, pigs, and cows, can be obtained by growing Timothy grass or purchased from NPCs.
  
• New livestock equipment sets have been added to improve efficiency: Apprentice Livestock Gear and Professional Livestock Gear.
  

Fishing

A new fishing bait system, fishing points, new fish species,
and a fish farm that allows fish to multiply are being added in the update!

• Fishing in IfSunSets has been revamped.
  
• Fish now spawn appropriately in rivers, seas, and ponds.
  
• Special fish that can only be caught at night have been added.
  
• Bait has been introduced.
  
• If bait is in your inventory, you can switch it using the "R" key, just like swapping arrows.
  
• A new "Fish Farm" has been added, where placing two of the same type of fish may result in one additional fish appearing the next day.
  
• A "Matter Converter" has been added, which transforms trash into a random general material item overnight. The Matter Converter requires a Ktuga Resonator to function.
  
• Two new fishing rods have been added.
  
• Nine new fish species have been added.
  

Research Notes

The Research Note System is being updated!
Register items, earn new rewards, and upgrade your life in IfSunSets.

• Research Notes have been added to IfSunSets.
  
• They can be accessed by talking to Laura, Logan, and Aiden.
  
• There are three types of research notes: Crop Research, Ichthyology Research (Fish Study), and Animal Research.
  
• By providing the requested items, players can earn experience points and unlock new blueprints.
  
• As the research level increases, both difficulty and rewards will grow.
  
• Completing all research notes will grant a final reward.
  

Construction

94 new interior furniture items are being added in bulk!
Furniture can be purchased from NPCs or crafted directly.
Decorate your home beautifully!

• 1x1 stairs have been adjusted to align in a straight line, allowing seamless connections.
  
• 1x1 cubes and 2x2 cubes can now be placed on the ground.
  
• Logic optimization has been improved.
  
• The appearance of some module types has been updated.
  
• A total of 94 new furniture items have been added for home decoration.
  
• Having furniture in your home now provides buffs that assist in exploration.
  

Music Performance

A Guitar Bench construction has been added, allowing you to play beautiful music.
The Guitar Bench can be crafted at the workbench, placed in the world, and interacted with.
Play your favorite music freely!

• A guitar system that allows freeform playing has been added!
  
• To use the guitar, craft a "Guitar Bench," place it in the world, and interact with it.

General

• Fixed an issue where some items did not grant material items when dismantled.
  
• Fixed an issue where the crafting requirements for certain items were displayed incorrectly.
  
• Fixed an issue that allowed item duplication through specific methods.
  
• Fixed an issue where destroying chests did not provide materials.
  
• Fixed an issue where wells appeared abnormally when destroyed.
  
• Fixed an issue where the effect played twice when monsters were defeated.
  
• Fixed an issue where the color of crab monsters changed upon defeat.
  
• Fixed an issue where the number of ballista bolts did not reset when retrying the Worm Boss fight.
  
• Fixed an issue where controls became unresponsive upon death during the Worm Boss fight.
  
• Fixed an issue where interacting with the boss altar while performing another action made further interactions impossible.
  
• Fixed an issue where bosses did not respawn in certain worlds.
  
• Fixed an issue where gaps were present in some maps.
  
• Fixed an issue where incorrect information was displayed in the compendium.
  
• Fixed an issue where certain monsters did not appear in the compendium even after being defeated.
  

Multiplayer

• Fixed an issue where players occasionally entered the wrong world when joining a multiplayer session.
  
• Fixed an issue where castle traps did not function correctly for guest players.
  
• Fixed an issue where guest players' FOV settings were reset.
  
• Fixed an issue where tombstones spawned inside the boss room when dying during a boss fight.
  
• Fixed an issue where interacting with water in multiplayer allowed multiple interactions.
  
• Fixed an issue where rescuing NPCs displayed incorrect language.
  
• Fixed an issue where quests that did not meet the completion conditions were marked as completed.
