Dive into an intense 5-minute high-score battle, perfect when you're short on time but high on adrenaline. Share your best runs on Discord to compete on our community leaderboard!

What exactly is Caravan Mode? Caravan Mode is an iconic gameplay format popularized by Hudson Soft’s classic shmups like Star Soldier. Famous for their roadshow competitions, kids would challenge their parents head-to-head, competing for glory and prizes. We’re honored to bring this thrilling experience into Interstellar Sentinel.

Caravan Improvements Change List:
  • Added a complete end-level ranking system—perfect for bragging rights.
  • Introduced a no-death bonus replacing pacifist mode—can you master the art of staying alive?
  • Visual effects got a serious glow-up—projectile impacts and explosions have never looked this spectacular!
  • Enemy AI refined—every fight stays fresh, fierce, and engaging.
  • Sneaky secrets added—rumors hint something intriguing might be hiding in suspicious flesh walls. Happy hunting!
  • Hidden goodies now cleverly concealed in flesh walls later in the level.
  • Monster Trophies introduced—showcase your mastery of combat by collecting them all!
  • Advanced Head Toss mechanic (MT Advanced Head Toss)—perfect your tossing technique!
  • Skele Schoochers now join the action earlier to ramp up the excitement.
  • Popcorn enemies now appear after dragons, warming you up for the Soul Blight Reapers.
  • Brood Mother received a fresh Caravan makeover—now featuring a face only a mother could love. Ready for the challenge?
  • Sea Satans elevated for clearer visibility.
  • Head Flayer animations improved.
  • Shadestress timing optimized.
  • Reduced mini Skullzoar spawn rate.
  • Brood Mother escapes sooner—catch her quickly!
  • Exit portal glow effect enhanced.
  • "Exit Portal" message clarity improved.
  • Second Mecha Demon Chopper’s timing adjusted.
  • Mini combo maintainers added to second Brood Mother.




Race Mode Explained:

Follow the green glowing race lines and speed powerups to go fast. Don't plow into the environment and mix in micro and macro dodging. Collect the Lokis, and monster trophy medals to rack up that high score and chain combo meter. Don't forget to shoot to keep your chain combo meter going and use your super to make your own shortcuts through the environment!

  • We've implemented and tweaked the end level rank system to support the new mode. The mode is being iterated on based on community playtest feedback.
