Update notes via Steam Community
Fellow Generals!

Well it didn't take long for the team to react to player feedback, so first patch hot off the press post-EA is already here!

Details are as follows:

  • New emote wheel to communicate with your opponent in Multiplayer games
(Use E to open the emote wheel and then mouse over and release on the emote to send it in game)
  • Updated team colours so you're always viewed as blue even if you're the client in Multiplayer games
  • Clearer display of the unlock conditions for other Squad slots
  • Fixed missing ∞ symbol in text Squad tool-tips for Unlimited Units and Actions
  • Added tool-tips to the Spectator count so you can see who is spectating the game

Now....what is the elusive tip you may ask? The team has been diligently spectating games, both on social channels and through the game's spectator mode, and were taken aback at how many players were asking for information that was right at their fingertips!

Players can use TOOL-TIPS on nearly anything in the game, simply by holding ALT (or pressing the middle mouse button) whilst hovering over your Units, an opponent's Units, over your opponents Score Panel in battle (or at the Barracks), where all the info you want and need is revealed! You can even do this while you're spectating, and even during the Squad selection screen before you begin a game!

Make no mistake....this will give you an added edge in battle!

The team has been very active in Discord since the launch of Early Access, so now is as good a time as any to join our Discord and engage with the team and wider community.

The Tea Division extends its thanks to our wonderful community, appreciative of the feedback and support we've received. This game is for you, so keep that feedback coming!

As always, until next, keep smiling and keep on skirmishing!
